Laikon Deli reviews
27John, the owner, could be the RUDEST customer service based business owner I have ever encountered!
Really sad to know they’ve changed their menu. Used to come every 2 weeks for their paninis. Love the one had roasted eggplants and capsicums, it was just perfect. Tried the paninis on the new menu and it’s not even nearly as good. They were basic and tasteless with the same price. It’s a really nice venue with friendly staff but just very disappointed with how they changed their paninis.
A Great lovely cafe that makes you feel like you are in Paris or Greece & good service but would give a 5 star if they introduced some gluten-free options!
Good coffee. But considering it was a takeaway order, waiting 10 minutes for it is a bit too long. Looks like a good place otherwise for sit down.
Super spot for a chilled Saturday brunch. Really excellent coffee, great food and very laid back vibe. Very popular with the dogeratti of Richmond
A regular for us. Food is always good (I think they use quality ingredients). Coffee is good too. The must have the friendliest staff in Melbourne.
Ordered a oat Cappuccino, but received after 10min waiting a soy Cappuccino.got a refund without any excuse. Thanks guys.
Dropped by for coffees at 11 on a sunny Sunday Spring morning and seated at a table for two on the pavement amongst a long line of tables. As the food went past to other tables, we couldn't resist and upgraded to lunch. And glad we did. Very nice food, and the 'large' coffees amongst the best we've enjoyed in four weeks on the road. It's table service and they are great. Makes such a difference!
These guys were smashed on the Queen's Day of Mourning, yet they maintained a friendly, calm and professional service. Just lovely.
Food was quality! We enjoyed the Special - Pumpkin Salad with Yoghurt Tahini dressing (added poached egg) and Porridge Baklava style with Rubarb. Delicious!
Thank you! We'll be back!
Beautiful place, amazing coffee and outstanding customer service. I called today to make an special request which the team was happy and willing to do! Thank you guys! My favourite coffee in Richmond!
We have ordered ravioli, which was half cooked. The other dish was fine bit bread was very normal. It's a big disappointment to get half Cooked food. I am still giving 3 start for the taste and interior.
What a gem of a Deli on Bridge Road! Beautiful set up and décor, great selection of charcuterie, cheese, fresh pasta and delicious fresh food. Great place for brunch too. Must try: the fried gnocchi. Lovely staff and cosy atmosphere. Recommended!
Purchased a bottle of red wine at Laikon Deli for $38. Found out later by a friend that it was available at many other retail shops for $20. I can understand marking up items but not by 100%
Nice looking place but the Reuben was all bread. Very minimal filling. One thin layer of beef that didnt even fill the sandwich and bits of the beef were so chewy it was inedible. Not what I was expecting for $13
I can’t fault this place. I’ve been dropping in from time to time over the last nine years and besides the surprisingly diverse and interesting range of produce, their coffee is always great, and the menu items are delicious. The staff are friendly and accommodating and always happy to speak to me.
Really nice vibe, the menu is surprising for a deli.great range and flexible too, if you need some changes. Staff was very friendly. We were there about 2pm.made for easy converstion as it wasnt too busy, but would suit a larger group too. Thanks guys. Enjoyed the vibe.
Amazing produce, lots of home made delights. Definitely what this area needed. Support family run business!
The Laikon Deli, Richmond's best for the finest cuisine products presented in te best food by professional staff, responding with a wealth of knowledge!
Nice open space, lovely menu, good wines, gorgeous sound system, and a deli right there. It’s special.
Coffee here was great but I really struggled with eating my breakfast.that thick type of bread where once it goes into your mouth you can’t stop chewing for at least another two minutes. Definitely not good on a date! Interior was adequate, I love the idea of a deli and breakfast place all in one but this one feels very crammed together. I think we also got one of the staff on one of those days that they’re wishing they didn’t work hospo, the service definitely left a lot to be desired. In such a competitive area of cafe’s, Laikon Deli failed to leave a good taste in my mouth.
