Laffa Bar Charcoal Grill reviews
44Music not as loud as in the shouk but middle eastern flavours to die for, staff that are absolute guns & the schwarma - smokin hot! Best night ever!
Everything on the menu is delicious. I highly recommend the baked cauliflower, kebab plate and lamb/vegetarian Sinya dishes. They are my faves
Fantastic place for excellent Israeli food. We had mixture of different salads and meats that brought back a lot of memories for us of living in Israel many years ago. The food was very fresh and delicious and very well presented and was all perfect. All the staff were also super friendly and professional, and made us feel very welcome. We will certainly be back again!
Came back again after nearly a year, still excellent! The owner also remembered us and had a nice chat. We will continue to come back each time we're in Melbourne, definitely worth going here!
Food was ok… schwarmas good…decor is non existent…. Bit of a captured market due to it being a kosher eatery
This is a fantastic spot, my suggestion if you have time to sit and enjoy the experience is let the Laffa Bar team bring out their selection. The team are very friend and the food is fantastic, we have been a number of times and have to keep going back - it is that good!
If you are looking for a kosher meat/ Shawarma place with delicious homemade salads.this is the place to enjoy delicious kosher Mediterranean food! Servers are also great and always efficient, happy and polite.
Highly recommended.
One of the best restaurants in Melbourne, the beef and lamb laffa is cooked so well. Great people, great food.
The food was great! We had both a pita and laffa with shawarma and it was very tasty! Everything was clean, fresh and the service was amazing.
I had lamb shawarma- tasted like dry rubbery old meat cut few hrs before - the guy who served me rude and careless
Poor service, miserable meals, rude staff, food looked sad and the sizes of the meals were pathetic! Brought our friends to experience the proper Israeli meal, felt ashamed we did it, definitely not coming back there ever nor us, neither them. Looks like the owners are very money hungry and don't respect much their clients.poor experience, it's definitely not how we do it in Israel!
Excellent food fresh and very tasty. Professional services with warm home atmosphere.
We definitely will come back!
Love this place but feeling VERY ripped off. I usually order a lamb laffa. It's huge and full of meat and salads. I tried the plate version. Miserable amount of meat. And only 2 salads allowed. This includes Hummus. Hummus and a single salad. And it's almost double the laffa price.
The shawarma looked terrible, I think no up getting chicken thighs on bbq
I prefer the person make the pita will where gloves,
The place looks like it’s need a lift up

Had really nice shawarma, kids had chicken schnitzel, which they ate with pleasure and a plate of dips and salads, of which the star was
baba ghanoush. The staff are really friendly, which adds too the pleasant experience.
Decent food but much more expensive compared to other places offering laffa/pita options. Got the chicken pita which was not too dry, but nothing special
All naan, no meat
The mix grill platter is an absolute ripoff. The bread weighed more than the kebabs. You would be better off buying $12 marinated kebab skewers from coles, $3 naan and $2 hummus.
Ordered the mix grill platter online. Even paid extra for steak kebabs. The entire bill totaled $90, plus the McDonald's afterwards.
It is supposed to feed two, but a stretch of a meal for one.
Guys have some courtesy to ready the given order in the time frame. It's not weekend & not a busy shop too.
Poor customer service as well
Great food. Their laffas taste great and baba ghanush, ohh my my. Spicy carrot is also really tempting.
