Labbaik Indian Restaurant reviews
50 Best ever Malai Tikka in Melbourne, if not in Australia!
We have tried Malai Tikka in so many Indian restaurants in Melbourne but the quality of this one beats all the top ones! And the fragrance of the food drags you inside the restaurant! The guys are from Hyderabad, explains the taste. Don't go here if looking for fancy ambience. It's super basic but food is what you must go here for. Thank you for the Malai Tikka
The best Biriyani and Haleem ever. This was my go to Biriyani place when I was a student. This restaurant is the best for Biriyani.
Hey Folks,
Food is awesome if you look for take away option.
Biryani and other curry items are the best to try.
Not a big fan of dine in so i don't bother about dine in arrangement.
It cant get any anymore authentic than this, best hyderabadi Biriyani in Melbourne. Ordered for my kids birthday party (60 guest) there wasn't anyone who didn't praised the chef. Generous quantity, flavourful, reasonably priced.
My personal favourite, haleem during the month of Rmadan!
You can't say this place isn't value for money. This is probably the cheapest Indian around. The Paneer Masala was really good. The butter chicken wasn't bad but it wasn't your typical westernised butter chicken that we've all come to expect. It wasn't sweet at all. It was actually very very salty. We added our own cream and sugar to balance out the flavours.
People keep raving about the Biryani so I'll definitely be ordering from here again to try a few more menu items.
Naan weren't bad, not the best, nor the worst naan I've had in the north. They are by far the cheapest though.
Please put Mango Lassi and Papadams on your UberEats menu
Excellent Biryani and Haleem. The place is closed nowadays? I visited multiple times and it says temporarily closed. Anyone having idea whats going on? Couldn't find them open since christmas vacations started.
The place doesn't look like much and I couldn't dine in on Monday evening, but the chicken biryani was really good with tender meat and nicely spiced. The service was very quick and the portion for one was very generous, I couldn't finish it
Same taste since 2008, always delicious and tasty.
Special for Biryani and chicken curries.
The greatest haleem and biryani from Hyderabad in Melbourne. You must try, especially during Ramadan!
Have been going to Labbaik since 2010 and still love the Biryani till date. Must visit if you love authentic Hyderabadi Biryani!
They have good food no doubt but need to improve (big time) their hygiene ASAP, and i git hair in my food second time, they only accept cash no efptos machine really disappointed, saving tax on big time from government which is not good because this is really busy.
Authentic and Best Hyderabadi Biryani and Haleem in Melbourne. A must try especially in Ramadan.
Went there after 3 years and found that they have renovated the interiors. Slightly overpriced but the biryani is definitely one of the best.
Highlight for me was the Chicken 65.
Disgusting customer service. I ordered food on Phone call and went to collect it.he demanded for cash.didn’t accepet card payment and sent me back without food.
When I first stepped into this place after reading some of the reviews, I was a bit skeptical. There was nothing about this place that offered any promise but my perspective changed after eating their biryani. They say ‘authentic Hyderabadi cuisine’ on their sign board and I completely agree with it.
Highly recommend this place their biryani's are amazing, been coming here for while.the owner is fantastic chef cooks to perfection
Nice place for delicious briyani, chicken tenderness soo good i had enjoyed nice food and lamb biryani alot better than anyone else in Melbourne and rashid chef got magic hands
Just ordered Mutton biryani, prawn masala, tandoori chicken and Haleem. Not many people can cater to the spice level of a South Indian. And this place delivers. Loved it!
Not sure how a chef can mistake lamb for chicken, but this one definitely did. We ordered takeaway and everything seemed fine until we tasted it. We got completely incorrect dishes and one was way too spicy to even identify what it was meant to be. I called the restaurant back and he apologised for the mix-up and said that he would remake it (the only reason I gave 2 stars) When I picked it up, I doubled checked to make sure it was what we ordered and he assured me that it was. But low and behold, when we got home, the chicken became lamb!
I've heard the biryani is good, but judging by the experience we had, we won't be going back
I first had their mutton biryani way back in 2013 and kid you not I found it better than biryanis I had back all across India! I remember them preparing haleem overnight. Have got some wonderful memories and even today their food doesn't disappoint simple and captivating.
