La Trobe Sports Stadium (LTSS) reviews
15A fresh modern stadium, excelkent quality, lots of courts and great facilites, parking onsite but gets full when all the games are on. Easy access from plenty rd.
Too much politics to get a court booking. They favour the people they know for the court bookings.
Not community courts just private court than available for public.
Modern stadium with excellent facilities. Car parking was clearly an afterthought though as it’s serviced by a dirt Carpark.
Great stadium with super clean toilets and facilities. The cafe coffee and muffins were beautiful. A little wait to make the coffee but well worth it. Highly recommend.
Difficult to find within the sprawling University complex for first time patrons, and difficult to get to
Car park problem
Terrible dirty parking and DANGEROUS to walk, I had a baby with a pram, my mother is elderly the nearest parking to go inside the stadium is this dreadful parking. Otherwise, you have to park and walk long distances. There is no information about the best parking or entry that you should mention, at least on the map; I ended up not watching my oldest son's game and only parked, left my mother and my baby inside the car and took him inside the stadium. There are small doors to enter the stadium directly, but it's closed; also, the benches for people to watch the game are not enough. Honestly, today was terrible, and I wouldn't say I like this stadium.
Very clean facilities. Used the netball courts. Well maintained timing boards. Entry fee for sporting events ($3) by eftpos only. Recommended facilities
4.5 stars I'll give it. The only bad thing is they only accept card and for me most of the time I would take some spare coins lying around.
Great new stadium with heaps of courts. Lots of space to walk your dog behind the stadium. Car park is gravel and always makes my car dirty. Getting in and out of the car park is a nightmare, as you can only turn left on Kingsbury drive. For entry, you technically need to go up to the next oval and do a loop. No one follows the rules though, as it is all so ridiculous. La Trobe needs to asphalt the car park and create another entry/exit point up the other end of the car park.
Great stadium, hopefully the parking will be done in the near future but definitely progressed really well
Amazing new sports stadium across the road from La Trobe University in Bundoora. The basketball course are great and huge bathrooms. But the parking is terrible. Currently it’s a dirt track at the front with one entrance and exit that you can line up for ages to get out. My recommendation is to park at LaTrobe Uni across the road and walk the extra 5minutes. Your can will stay clean and you will not get rage at the wait.
Great new indoor facility and club. Only complaint is the outdoor lighting is very intrusive later afternoon.
Brand new indoor sporting centre situated in the grounds of La Trobe University. Ample parking. Foffocult to locate because of the size of the University.
Simply an amazing sporting facility, car parking is really the only complaint that I have but it is easily overlooked by how new and clean the venue is.
As a photographer the lighting here is amazing to shoot at night compared to any other indoor venue I've shot in Melbourne.
Hope this place didn't cost a fortune. Terrible carpark, poorly signed and exit is ordinary. Other sports stadiums like Mullum Mullum and DISC are just so much better in terms of access, layout and finish. Surely it's not finished!
