La Sirène Brewing reviews
16 The beer was as good as you would expect from La Sirene, although a little pricey. The wine was also quite expensive.
The food was a let down. The Farmhouse Board for 2 was a bit underwhelming for the price of $75. It’s really a $50 board at best.
They need some simpler options and more variety for vegetarians.
Beautiful wild and sour ales. The food was also quite tasty. Definitely recommend for any adventurous beer fan
Good farmhouse style beer. Citrate sour a favorite. Pity to see them closing the bar. Moving on to a better venue, looking forward to the opening.
Exceedingly overpriced tap beer. Some pints up to $20! Acceptable tasting but a bit of a price gouge.
Location was interesting and a bit hard to find, but just follow the signs. And park at Alphington Station ;). I do love a hidden bar! Love the different style of beers. The one with pineapple in it was my personal fave from what I tried. The staff were so accommodating and lovely.
Always been one of my favourite beers when in Brissy. The staff are great and was awesome to chat beer nerd talk. Amazing selection of beers and an amazing menu to back it up.
Will definitely be back for more in the future.
I have minimal knowledge about stout & craft beers. In saying that, my experience was great. The atmosphere, interaction & overall visit was very nice & comfortable. The bartenders were friendly & easy to talk to in regards to what beverages to try, even if you are unsure on what to have. Highly recommended!
Cellar door and bar
Great brewery bar with boutique beers, some of which are made using wine barrels. They are mainly Belgian style beers.
I ordered the wild berry beer which is delish and fruity but beery too
The other beer is a honey ale of some sort, also great.
They have a food menu too because these beers are really good with food. You can get olives, toasted sanga’s, caviar, pizzas and other things
Great little brewery with a newly opened tap room. Indoor and outdoor seating. Good range of beers and a food option - pizzas, toasties etc. No surcharge for using a credit card (unusual these days) but there is a 10% surcharge on a Sunday. It was lovely sitting outside sipping a stout. We will be back!
Without a doubt some of the best brews in the world are brewed here, thanks Costa & Will, cheers
Cellar door opens about once a month these days and it's the best place to get the best Saisons Australia has to offer.
I have not been to the brewery in person. I do not like the design and artwork on the cans, but I am drinking one of these right now. The former 2 statements are not important. The beer these people put in these cans, nothing short of outstanding quality. Extremely delicious, splendid drinking with a mate on a warm spring or summers day. 10 stars. That is all.
Seriously, seriously, consistently good brewers. Keep sticking to your guns folks, having Saison specialists like yourselves down under is a priceless gem in our crown. Always enjoy the stall at GABS also, see you soon.
If only your local council would approve a tapped cellar door setup I would pack up and relocate to Alphington tomorrow. Unconscionable!
Good beers.but these wimps bow down to the local council and won’t make a brewery bar here. ️
(What a boring douchey council)
Just cos they knocked you back once doesn’t mean you shouldn’t try again. We need a brewery in Alphington.
I second the motion for a cellar door/ bar please. The opportunity to try your range is what we are looking for today.
FYI not a brewpub at this address, dont go there expecting to try the beers it's just where the beer is brewed
