La Porchetta Werribee

The days of good La Porchetta are finally gone. The pizzas are horrible. Give your self a favour. Stay away don’t waist your money

This was a few weeks ago but I wanted to share my recent dining experience at La Porchetta, and unfortunately, it was not a positive one. The overall quality of the visit left much to be desired, both in terms of the culinary aspect and the treatment received.

The food at La Porchetta failed to meet expectations. The dishes lacked flavor, and the presentation was underwhelming. It's disheartening when the anticipated highlight of a dining experience falls short.

Moreover, what made the visit truly disconcerting was an incident involving insensitive comments from the kitchen staff about my weight. This type of behavior is unacceptable and created an uncomfortable atmosphere. Every customer should be treated with respect and dignity, regardless of their appearance.

I had a great spaghetti and meatballs! Got the mousse and it was good but texture was very odd…. The servers got our drinks wrong, left before one person ordered their drinks and forgot about one of our drinks… the servers weren’t rude but were not friendly either…

My recent visit to La Porchetta Werribee with my family for dinner left us with mixed impressions. We ordered a variety of dishes - Basil pesto Gnocchi, Vegetarian Pizza, Roasted Pumpkin risotto, and Cheesy garlic bread.

The Roasted Pumpkin risotto was an absolute standout, earning a solid 10/10 rating. It was the best risotto I've had to date, boasting rich flavors and perfect texture. The Cheesy garlic bread took second place, with its delectable combination of flavors and melt-in-the-mouth goodness. The Basil Pesto Gnocchi at La Porchetta Werribee was a delightful addition to our meal. It boasted a perfect balance of flavors, with the richness of the basil pesto complementing the tender gnocchi. Each bite was a burst of savory goodness, making it a memorable dish that we thoroughly enjoyed.

Unfortunately, the Vegetarian Pizza fell short of our expectations, offering a rather plain taste that didn't quite excite our palates.

On the positive side, the overall experience at La Porchetta Werribee was pleasant. The service was attentive, and the ambiance contributed to an enjoyable family dinner outing.

While the Vegetarian Pizza didn't quite hit the mark, the Roasted Pumpkin risotto and Cheesy garlic bread made up for it. La Porchetta Werribee delivered a good dining experience with excellent service and a comfortable setting.

Food was great, once ordered came out very quickly. However, we tried to order dessert and coffee at about 8: 30pm and were told coffee machine already cleaned as the restaurant closes at 9pm. Not a good experience overall. Would have been more proactive if staff would have suggested or asked if any coffee/desert's would like to be ordered earlier.

I never leave bad reviews however I’ve never had such appalling service at a restaurant before. The staff made fun of our dietary requirements and treated us like criminals for having medical problems which caused us to order specific items. They all stood around our table like hawks while trying to eat, refused us to be able to takeaway our food because we were so uncomfortable. The quality was so horrible my friend and I couldn’t even eat it. Train your staff. Fix your food. We will never be coming back.

The thin waitress with ton of a pink blusher was so rude and unprofessional, Terrible service by her, Seriously, she had a really negative racially Motivated attitude. La porchetta is one of my favorite restaurants but this branch has so bad service, especially that waitress.

Pray they dont miss giving you something. Customer service is beyond poor. They do not recognize honour the online receipts they send to you. Fix your system

It's a good restaurant for big families or student groups, as the portion is very generous for the price. The food quality is ok, not particularly good or bad. Good place to just hang out when you have a tight budget.

Best pizzas here ever and pasta is yummy as well. Best and fresh crust of pizza as always, love it

I have been coming down from the Gold Coast yearly and going to La Porchetta for 5-6 years for lunch with my grandchildren and great grandchildren. Today was most disappointing we waited so long for the food and was bought out at different times the children had finished their meals before we started. My husbands meal was so chewing he couldn't eat it. My vegetables were raw and full of water, my granddaughters chicken was overcooked and cream sauce was just cream. Grandsons salmon was overcooked. When I complained they offered complimentary dessert what a joke. When I went to pay they wanted to charge for all the uneaten food we didn't eat. Will not go back again.

We had the family go for dinner where we had our daughter who lives in Qld down for the first time in years & everything was absolutely wonderful.
Can't fault our visit here they are great & highly recommend going here

Terrible food almost uneatable if you love salt and high blood pressure go for a meal at La Porchetta

Staff were brilliant and excellent service. Food was very tasty and enjoyable.had a lovely cuppa peppermint tea and.

Service was always friendly. The only improvement I would suggest is to have one more register to take payments as there are often customers trying to split bills which means others have to wait a long time

Eat here when they have Kids eat free promo. Was still received good service even after they know that we will use the promo. Food was surprisingly good. Portion is huge! Just like real Italian portion. The only downside is our food came 45mins after our kids. So we cant enjoy eating at the same time.

Had a family (adult) birthday party on a Sunday evening. Was busier than expected but a lot of fun.
Food was nice, staff were good, no stuff-ups with meals.

I have always had great experience in this restaurant, we go often over the years and even over lockdown we have always ordered food and the staff always looks after us. Knows how we want our order and accommodates us! Would recommend:)

I found them very dear compared to a month ago. The Spaghetti Pescatore entree was $13.00 last month and now $22.00. I had Minestrone soup and Pana cotta. Wasnt impressed with dessert. Pana cotta was too heavy and thick. Wont be coming back.

Ordered chicken mushroom pasta, veal schnitzel and seafood platter.

Pasta was ok with barely any mushroom and some chicken in it.
Seafood platter was good though the fish was a little smelly.
The veal schnitzel was RIDICULOUS. I could not see any vela in it there was a layer as thin as my fingernails and the rest was just salty batter. Completely inedible.

Service was so bad. Chipped plates and waiters seemed just so tired and not bothered at all.

Will never go here again ever!
