La Porchetta SUNSHINE

Overpriced. Service was poor. Was told I could not have any more parmesan cheese after spending $22 on a bowl of pasta. I'm not sure what La Porchetta are trying to achieve by charging absorbent prices and providing no service. Drinks sat empty on the table, with no offerings of another. Entree was served before drinks arrived.

This is no long an affordable pizza joint. It's overpriced whilst providing sub par service. Save your money!

Had a great lunch with great food. Manager Kelly, I think that was her name, was super friendly. We will definetely be returning

Terrible experience, ordered dinner off Uber eats, I got two bbq chicken pizzas, lasagne and an gnocchi pasta. Nothing about was good unfortunately, both the pizzas were covered completely in cheese, the lasagna was also just covered in cheese as well as the gnocchi tasted terrible, it had a really strong cream taste to it which was very rich. The only reason I’m giving a two star rating is because we got all our items. Will not be eating anything from here anymore, I would be expecting something nice for the price you pay.

La Porchetta Sunshine are loved and appreciated by us locals. Even through tough times they have adapted and changed their operations to adhere to government regulations, ensuring all customers feel safe whilst enjoying their meals. They have a great range of food with chef specials. We particularly like their pizzas and pastas. Friendly customer service is what you will recieve at Sunshine La Porchetta.

Not bad. Food is good but the atmosphere really isn't. Every time we come here there's always a yelling family or weird junkie couple which I understand is out of the restaurant's control but there are certain things they can do for the fact that the sound in the environment is pretty overwhelming, considering every time we visit we have to raise our voice to communicate to each other. Service is not bad too, nothing outstanding but nothing to complain about either.

Keep up the good work guys, would just recommend the general atmosphere has a makeover and I guarantee everyone will be rating it five stars!

Pleasantly surprised, has greatly improved since last visited some 12- 18 months ago. Pizza was really good and the waitress was very helpful and friendly.

The staff were absolutely amazing and friendly! Really knew how to create a homely atmosphere! I would definitely come back again! I didn't get his name but there was a amazingly sweet worker last night that did wonders!

Definitely one of the best around the right cooks and friendly service makes it a delicious combination it’s my family’s favourite

Staff were friendly enough, service was a little slow. Ordered the grilled chicken breast with mushroom sauce with chips and veggies, chicken was cold and I got mash potatoe instead of chips.

Rude guy he like came to our table asked and took our pizza for take away and when enquired about it at the counter he just banged it there almost felt like asking to leave unacceptable behaviour

Awesome. Friendly staff. The chicken schnitzel with mushroom sauce and seasonal vegetables were very tasty and filling.

We are in Melbourne for vacation and randomly selected this place for some Italian cuisine but were disappointed with the service as we were served a dish that we haven’t ordered and when asked about it the guy’s behaviour seemed aggressive and ignorant, even the food was greasy and salty. After experiencing all this I was asked to place a review on a personal name as well from the guy. So here I write, not interested at all to give a single star.

Service was by a tall guy, WOW! My family never expected to receive service like this in Sunshine, he interacted with my kids and my Mum. So appreciative and impressive especially because my Mother doesn’t speak much English. He was brilliant thank you so much. What an asset to your business

Wonderful time spent here with family today. The quality of service was remarkable with quick and attentive service, the girl was very friendly and brilliant in giving suggestions about the food choice, the presentation of drinks, dessert and food were attractive. Had a very pleasant experience, the food was also delicious (fisherman platter). Sincere thanks to the girl for giving us a happy & memorable experience. Will recommend to others & happy to see to guys soon. Keep it up

Heard about this restaurant from a friend, experience was good as a first timer. Had a dinner there the food was nice particularly the mushroom sauce and chicken parmigiana but unhappy with the service as I felt the tall guy who was serving us was rude, arrogant and can’t even offer suggestions in food choice.i will not come back and never recommend to anyone.

Very bad experienced today i am regular customer come every week. This time the service was horrible. The guy was very rude. The guy brought water and without asking me pour the water in my glass before he took the dirty dishes in front of me very disgusting to look at.i gave 5 star for the food but service need to be taken care of. The girls do the excellent job everytime. Highly recommend not put staff individually who don’t know the hospitality well specially during christmas time.

I’m not usually in favour of writing negative feedbacks for anyone but unfortunately our terrible experience today made me do so. I was here for lunch, the food was pretty alright but the guy who took our order was looking like impatient instead of focusing on our order he was waving and gesturing other customers. The service was as lively as a graveyard and the staff definitely had no customer service skill either. Even when the bill was cleared it the guy was extremely rude with no smiles and if you want to be treated like this I suggest not to go there.
