La Porchetta South Yarra

Friendly service. We ordered The Godfather pizza & The Lot. Tasted nice, but the base was on the thin side for my liking, which made it soggy given the amount of toppings. The lemon, lime & bitters was flat. The restaurant itself needs some atmosphere. It’s very dim & quiet - no background music.

We've ordered takeaway here quite a bit through the lockdowns and we're never disappointed. We've tried pasta, pizza, and steak and would probably say they do pasta best. In particular, I'm fond of the spaghetti and meatballs.

It's a sad day when I have to only give 1 star, Italian pizza is romantic and full of flavour. Made with passion and flair. Unfortunately somewhere along the line the restaurant has lost its love of food and its sad to say but it's evident in there pizza.

Their gnochhi with napoletana sauce is utterly amazing. The food has come out quickly both times I've been here. The portions are huge!

Good ambience and delicious food at affordable prices.
The Spaghetti Mushroom is a delicious experience for the taste buds and a must to try, for sure a dish that its up there with the best.
Well l8cated in Toorak Road, La Porchetta is a Family Restaurant that cant be missed.

I popped in here one night looking for a quick, reasonably priced and what I hoped a decent meal. I ordered the spaghetti bolognese and not only was it very bland, because I'm a coeliac I required gluten free pasta and they charged me an additional $4.90 for it!
It's 2021, places like this need to stop ripping off coeliac's, it's so unfair. Appalling, will never return.

Great Pizza, Awesome pizza chef and great manager. The bathrooms could present a little better and would benefit from an update and deep clean.

I'm so so disappointed.we lovvvve the new york baked cheesecake here and always order it when we are on shift at work.but its gone from the menu.it has become our afternoon delight with coffee.please bring back the NY cheesecake.

Susan is such a wonderful waitress and a beautiful person. I’m a loyal customer of this restaurant and what keeps me returning is the people like her and great service.

I hate to be saying this because around maybe 5 years ago this place was really good but now.anyway

So. Me and my family just went out to eat and let me just say how rank the pizza's were. They are dry, yet soggy at the same time as if they were heated in a microwave and the amount of oil on the pizza was gross. Also the fact that it cost $75 for 2 medium and a small pizza, a bowl of chips and a salad, like what? !? !? !? ! You are better off going to dominoes instead lmao waste of money AND food. Will not be coming back xx

I remember having luncheon here with the cousins back in 2017, the foods here are delicious, I really liked it! The staff were friendly too! ️

The place has a deserted look because of the lockdown restrictions as seen in pic. But the pizzas are still available and taste as good as before.

I do ubereats the staff is always nice and friendly their mango icecream is magical will recommend to everyone

Really average over cooked oily chicken pizza. Will never eat here again, also no changes allowed to be made to the pizza. Not very accommodating - tried to change pineapple for capsicum and was told no

The lady who served us was very polite and well spoken. The food was a different story. The food was over cooked and tasteless. So I personally think you shouldn’t go to La Porchetta South Yarra.

Having recently moved to South Yarra I have been checking out the local pizza restaurants. My wife and I ate here at the weekend and were very impressed! Our waitress was really, really nice and the other staff were also very helpful and obliging. They even set us up outside and put the heater on for us. Food was great and the usual terrific La Porchetta value - 2 medium pizzas, 2 glasses of wine and a stubby for under 50 bucks! Try matching that anywhere else on Toorak Road!
We'll be regulars from now on

Their thoughtful and personal service made me happy-cry. It's not usual for me to order food delivery. I'd had the day from hell. In the middle of covid shut down, I'd had to find somewhere else to sleep at short notice and I was stressed beyond belief. When my pizza arrived - twice as fast as the app had estimated, it came with a handwritten note apologising for the gluten free pizza being only medium size - which hadn't been specified on the ordering app at the time - and they included a complimentary chocolate mousse to make up for it. The gluten-free pizza was good. The chocolate mousse had chunky discs of chocolate in it and blew me away! Thank you to the staff for being so thoughtful and kind. I'll definitely be ordering again.

Amazing food and even better staff. Cozy feel for a neighborhood restaurant. Got a great deal on possibly the best cake I've ever had. Would highly recommend

It's a small well run place, good service, ample menu including veagan with reasonable prices and a good wine selection

One of the best pizzas I've ever had. Good friendly efficient staff. We had a mix up with the order, partly my fault for not realizing we were short a pizza on checkout. They quickly put the missing order through and would not let me pay for the missing pizza! Fantastic level of service.
