La Porchetta Glen Waverley

This restaurant is great in service and food quality. We got there and was able to get a table. We ordered and the wait for the food to arrive wasn’t long. We would say it’s fast! We noted there’s quite some people taking away food and pizzas seem to be popular here. We would come back again. We ordered two pastas, one risotto, fried eggplants, and a pizza (We missed the photo of the pizza because we were too hungry and we chowed down the pizza promptly). The pizza, pastas and the risotto are great choice. We favored the pastas more as they have nice flavor on the pastas noodles.

Im not sure how this place has such good reviews because the food was tasteless. We ordered chicken supreme pizza, seafood platter, risotto, lasagna and prawn pasta. The host never came to ask about the food or if we needed anything else. It felt like there were just two people serving the entire restaurant. I was wishing that Gordon Ramsay might walk in and close it down for a kitchen nightmares episode.

Has a wide range of delicious pizzas. Chicken pizza is our favorite. Haven't dine in. But the vibe is fantastic and staff is always friendly.

We had a family dinner and the food was good and service was fast. Plenty of parking at the back. May need an interior upgrade and the sign is all sun bleached. Doesn't make the place look appealing from the outside. Prices also gone up and now on par with fancy restaurants in St. Kilda.that was unexpected.

My family often dines here and every time the food has been great and is very consistent. The staff are great too. We enjoy going and having dinner here. Highly recommend.

Pleasantly surprised going here unplanned for both a birthday and wedding anniversary dinner for 8 people when visiting from Adelaide. Staff were happy to get us a table and the food, especially the penne spinach and pumpkin was delicious. Kids had crepes that they said were the best ever so thank you

One of the to-go place for dinner for awhile. However, today had been a horrible dining experience. A family of 4, we were assigned to a table for 2 in a half full restaurant. We ordered a pasta, a pizza, and a ribs, so we politely requested to extend our table. A firm "NO" was given, and afterwards the waitress just squeeze all our order into the crammed table. The pasta and the ribs plates were hanging at the edge of the table. She just walk away without even given a thought on how we were suppose to eat. Not her problem. Half of the restaurant in empty with plenty of tables around, not sure what is her problem. Too bad for us, I guess.

By far the best La Porchetta restaurant I've been too. Very friendly staff, good food and atmosphere.

Had dinner at La Porchetta Glen Waverley tonight, it was fabulous, staff were very friendly, the food servings were very generous and delicious, and the pizza's and bowl of chips came out piping hot. Very happy with our evening, thank you so much!

This LaPorchetta isn't great, we ordered Rib Eye Steak, Chicken Parma & Chicken Schnitzel. The steak tasted like old grill grease & had possibly been frozen, the mushroom sauce was just gravy with mushrooms in it, with no real flavour at all & the serving sizes were a lot smaller than other LaPorchetta's, very disappointed.

Service was good, helped us immediately when we wanted, but allowed us all the time we needed and wanted, and was very fast. Tiramisu and lasagne seemed "non-traditional" consistency/make-up/taste. Pizza seemed good.

Always brilliant and our go to. The service is always great and you are made to feel at home by the owner and lovely staff. The food is seriously always tasty with fresh ingredients.the portions are generous but that's just a bonus. Do yourself a favour and dine here.

Well known brand name. And it’s not the same with other pizza stores, it’s surprisingly way better. Tasty, juicy, super friendly staff, and most importantly worth the bucks. Definitely will come back often.
