La Porchetta Caroline Springs

The staff were so helpful and extremely friendly. The food was great, and they had a large choice for gluten-free meals. Food arrived very quickly. Didn't have to wait a long time to order.

I love this place, food amazing but what it makes it better, it's the stuff, the owners are so good, honestly I go to eat there with my family once or sometimes twice a week, I love it so good, highly recommended

Customer service was friendly, but it was a tad confusing. We came in and asked for a menu. We were directed to the takeaway menu without being asked whether we wanted to dine in or takeaway. Once we decided to order, we were finally told that seats were available on the left.
Food came in large portions. Fettuccine Carbonara came with salt and chilli flakes.

It was a hassle to grab the bill. We had to go to the kitchen side to ask for our bill. That was silly.
A Melbourne bittersweet experience!

Haven't been here for a while but kids asked to go, noticed its under new management for sure, had 3 large pizzas which had to be the worst pizza we've had seriously. That pizza base has changed dramatically, cardboard 100% and the outer crust normally you see 1cm to 1.5cm but this was ridiculous it was close 3cm, and yes I got the ruler out cause my jaw dropped when I saw it, I pretty much ordered a large and got a medium never again budget food for premium prices, pathetic! Previous management their pizzas was an easy 8/10.if this place isn't under new management, I dont know what went wrong guys I'm sorry! 400 Gradi is pretty much the same price and there 10/10.

Visited with some friend, experience petty average. Ordered seafood pasta which was bit bland and no lemon wedge or side parmasean cheese offered. Other friends ordered risotto, pizza and seafood platter. On positive note potion size was decent.

We ordered a few pizzas tonight. They were very bland and absolutely awful. The taste of the base was disgusting and not cooked at all. We even asked for a replacement pizza but it was the same. I had guests who had came from overseas which I was hosting. They had a terrible experience as well. I would recommend to order Pizza from Domino’s as they are much better in taste and much lower in price. I am definitely never going to La Porchetta Caroline Springs. What a waste of money!

I never post reviews but these pizzas were undoubtedly the most bland and yuck pizzas we all tasted (take away). They were identical to McCains frozen pizza. Tasteless, plasticky cheese and bland dough. Everyone at the gathering I hosted said the same thing. Never again!
REPLY TO LA PORCHETTAS REPLY: we did ring. This is clearly not a one off as all three pizzas were the same taste. Twenty bucks for these large pizzas each. A bit expensive too. Next time, back to Speedy's pizza. $12 for larger and MUCH better quality.

Just ordered the chicken schnitzel and chips delivered to my hotel, and wow the aroma of the food was amazing, and tasted even better, highly recommend this place.

Great food, ordered the Gnocchi bolognese with a side of wedges. Overall pleased, wedges could have been cooked a bit better, but apart from that pasta tasted really good!

The worse carbonara ive ever tasted.bland, overcooked and had to put it in the bin.a chef could not have cooked this? ! Wont be ordering from here again

I've ordered the beef ragu penne pasta once before at high point, and I decided to order it again at caroline springs. The pasta was very nice at high point but the one I received from Caroline springs was absolutely horrendous it was disgusting it looked like dog food slop and it didn't taste any better. I can't believe the difference it was so bad. I will never order from Caroline springs la porchetta again. What a waste of money.

The food is very questionable whenever we've been here. The Parma tastes likd its marinated in dish water, the chips seem to just be over salted because they're re-cooked and the pizzas are nothing to brag about. They really need to start reworking flavour over presentation.

Great food, awesome atmosphere and excellent service. We ordered Bolognese Pasta, Lasagne, Chicken Schnitzel and Grilled Chicken breast. Lasagne was the best amongst all as it was melting in the mouth. Portion sizes were decent and staff seemed pretty happy and service was better than so many placed we have visited in past. Overall great experience.

I thought I might go to La Porchetta for dinner and treat myself with a veal parmigiana, and it was awesome. The sauce and cheese was perfectly balanced with the meat, the chips were good and I didn't walk out hungry. The atmosphere was pretty good, capturing the atmosphere an expensive restaurant would have, even with all the screaming kids in the background, but it was nothing too unique compared to other expensive restaurants. Now, the main reason which motivated me to write this review was the service. I mean, sure, I know it can get busy, but the second half of my meal was interrupted multiple times by people asking me if I was finished, yet the chips on my plate were still there, still being eaten. When it came to the point when I was actually done, and I asked to take away the leftover pizza my family members had, the staff took a really long time to get the pizza box, despite them rushing me out earlier on. I felt like I was being rushed out just to make way for people who were inconveniently late, I arrived there first, I should have the time to finish my meal. They were rushing us out when I was eating, but not when we were about to leave.

I had dinner here with the family last Sunday. The chicken parmigiana was tough and dry whereas I expected it to be succulent of course. It did not taste fresh to me at all.

The parma was served only with chips on the side and no salad. Overall, the dish was very ordinary to me. Some of the pubs serve much better chicken parmigiana.

Employees and Manager or Boss ARE SO RUDE!

Very disappointing and disrespectful experience the restaurant was empty on a Saturday night I mean empty not one person but the staff you’d think it would have at least one or two people but no ghost town anyway i decided to give them a chance and did i regret it the owners wife who is the acting manager was so rude to me i felt very disrespected and also disgusted as she was hitting on my friend who came into the restaurant alongside me that being said i ordered one pizza with seafood and a pasta both the pasta and pizza was so undercooked it was not funny i couldn’t understand why being it had seafood are the chefs crazy the pizza was just plain disgusting the pizza maker sprinkled every topping but the toppings I ordered on my pizza i did check with my friend as he had a pasta he did try the pizza and said he wouldn’t feed it to he’s dog and i thought he was joking so i laughed he stopped me and said it’s not a joke this pizza shouldn’t be served to people he was surprised being in the food industry that the place wasn’t shut down by now serving this kind of garbage (I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND) going to this restaurant they should probably closedown for good much better food and prices at slices just across the way

Thank you for taking care of us for my parents anniversary dinner. Food all came at once (for 20 people) and tasted so delicious! I loved the customer service as well:)
