Great lady serving but eggplant chips were burnt with not alot of eggplant Parmigiana was dry and pizza was tasteless

Been to many La Porchetta Restaurants around Melbourne but this one takes the cake for freshness and the pizzas bases are do lite and crunchy. One of the best la porchetta places to visit as a family! Great job everyone! Will definetly come back!

I went to La Porchetta with my mother and my brother for dinner. I had an amazing salad, pizza my mother had a delicious spaghetti and my brother had pizza with prawns. Their have yummy garlic bread. First porchetta experience was A+. Great coffee too

If you want a quick feed, this place feeds lots of people very quickly. The food quality is good and service is friendly. Large range of normal Italian styled food.

Food was good, plenty of options to choose from the menu. Service was highlight with owner i believe going out of his way to greet everyone whether they were new customers or returning. One of the better places to eat in Shepparton.

Delicious food and fantastic service. The food came out quickly and everyone was very friendly and helpful.

Servers were polite. We ordered starters and mains for four with drinks. One drink was completely wrong and they sent out one main five minutes before the starters came out.

One dish was excellent and that was the beef ragu with gluten free pasta.

On the other hand one dish was a complete disaster. It was listed as an eggplant parmigiana. What actually came out was a bowl of brown goop. There was probably half an eggplant sliced into numerous strips that were submerged in the brown goop.
It did not resemble a parmigiana, it did not taste anything like a parmigiana.

The dish wasn’t eatable and was left. When the plates were collected at the end of the meal I politely told the server that it wasn’t a parmigiana and that it wasn’t good.

I was given a simple “sorry, I’ll inform the chef” but when I went to pay for the bill was still charged the $26.90 for it.

I wouldn’t return to this restaurant nor would I give it a go if you’re visiting Shepparton.

Chefs/cooks that don’t know how to prepare simple dishes shouldn’t be working in kitchens, and business’s that can’t take responsibility for their mistakes and instead charge their customers for them need to take a hike. It’s 2022 and we’re in a wonderful state with great produce and service everywhere. There’s no excuse.

The meals seem to have been rushed. Their pastas and pizzas were great but their parmigiana and schnitzel were under done. Service was great.

Great service, great food and fresh oysters to die for! Always order a pizza too many and enjoy taking it home and having it for breakfast the next day. Haha

Ordered a cold 1.25 sprite an got given 2 hot 600ml sprites.
Then I rang to ask why all he could say was sorry.
No explanation or a refund or even a choice of a different cold drink
Pretty dismal service if asking me.
He droped a cold drink back 2hours latter when we were in bed

Never before have I thrown a pizza in the garbage. That was genuinely disgusting and dripping with oil. The worst pizza I've eaten. There was nothing Italian about any of that!

I love coming here! Such a cozy warm atmosphere, staff are so lovely, food is always fresh, food always comes out fast and portions are SO large! Thank you for such lovely meals time & time again?

This joint was really great before they sold it. The new management can't even make a simple Tiramasu! Wouldn't Not Recommend!

Love the food here. Not just your traditional Italian food but steak, chicken and seafood. Service is good too. Sit down have a drink and enjoy a wonderful meal. Lots of parking close by.
