"Don't judge a book by its cover" truly applies to this place.
I attended this reception for the first time as a guest for a friend's wedding. I was impressed by the very spacious carpark, easy accessibility, very spacious inside and could easily see it cater for well over 200 guests. The decor was of grandeur and luxury but if you look carefully, you can see cracks in the walls, rusty sink in the bathroom and flies and insects in the main room. It looks like this place is in need of serious renovations by professionals.
The service was so-so. The waiters were helpful but they behaved quite awkward. Not cheerful or did they forget to smile? Gave off a weird vibe. They constantly walked around and gave refills which is good. But for some reason, they were slow to serve the courses. Couldn't get the timing right. Dessert was delayed so much to the point all of the guests had left. I imagine that's a lot of food and money wasted! I also found it weird they served plates of food at seats where no one was sitting. Just why?
I was very disappointed with the food. The appetiser was a soup/porridge that tasted like hospital food and presentation was unappealing. The main dish was a plate of mashed potatoes, one piece of broccoli, two slices of a carrot, a chewy slice of beef and a tablespoon of gravy. That's cheap airplane food quality. And I didn't get the dessert because service took way too long into the night.
This place has potential to be well presented and deliver on quality, but needs A LOT of improvements!

Nice venue, very spacious and great dance floor. However, the service on the night was pretty poor, and the chairs were pretty uncomfortable.

Spacious venue, nicely decorated. The food service is of high quality. Recommended for big wedding and parties.

It is well named it is a mirage that it is a decent venue. Its a dive and only attracts the undesirable types.

The car park needs more lighting, its so dark that its unsafe. Staff were slow and barely around. Our dirty/full plates were on the table until next course had to be served!

Amazing venue. Attended a number of weddings here over last few years. Staff Owners go out of their way to make guests feel special. Food is tasty and all palates and preferences can be catered for. Venue itself is very flexible for wedding decor or large gatherings. I highly recommend from traditional wedding reception to engagement to wedding anniversary.

Provides space for right wing extremists like Lauren Southern and Geert Wilders, please seek the services of a more ethical convention service.

Clean and well managed business, I applaud the business for standing up against the status quo and embracing free speech and freedom of thought, by hosting this very important event in melbourne. We can't say the same for the hoard of Filthy far left marxists outside the premises.that were protesting against their own self interests.

This venue was incredible. Some of the bad reviews come from people that weren’t happy about an event that was hosted here. Came here to see Lauren S and the place and hosts were nothing short of warm, friendly and hospitable. Great cheap drinks and a lovely atmosphere. Would recommend this place every time. Thank you guys for the great time!

The worst service.the music is extremely loud, its over 120 dB, so loud you can't even hear the person next to you. My ears are still whistling from last night's wedding party i went too. Sound setting is unprofessional, words from speech are hard to understand as voise is not clear stupid.
