La Cucina Melbourne

If you are planning to eat some good pasta, this might not be the right place. I went with my partner a few days ago and the pasta was over cooked and kinda tasteless… like no salt no love idk, I expected more since looks nice from outside but I probably won’t come back

The place is very nice. Pastas and pizza taste very good and they also serve at time i didnt had to wait for my food. Highly recommend to visit.

La Cucina is the Most awaited restaurant in the area. Now it’s our go to place whenever we crave for delicious Pizzas and pasta.delicious food and amazing atmosphere with top class service from friendly staff which is very rare now day.we will be back for more!

Love this authentic Italian restaurant tucked away in one of the side lanes in the Melbourne CBD. The reception was very warm and friendly. They personalised our meals with our requests. Delicious meals at very reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

Had a perfect dinner last night the food tasted fresh and delicious the atmosphere and decor was 10/10. A must visit Italian restaurant for all.

Enjoyed being here. Lovely, helpful staff. Good menu. I ordered the gamberi risotto which was delicious - cooked al dente with a tasty pesto which didn't overpower the dish. Would come back again.

Great service. I ordered the seafood marinara with fettuccine. The seafood was cooked nicely. The sauce was too thin and watery, and the pasta was underseasoned and overcooked, it was much too soft and bland. The serving size is on the small side.

Highly recommend. I had dinner at La Cucina with my Dad who is ITALY obsessed. He spends 2 months a year in Italy and has been to every Italian restaurant in Melbourne.so I was nervous. Dad is often hard to impress! But.he was SO IMPRESSED with all the dishes, flavours, al dente fresh pasta and the impeccable service. Finally a restaurant that is not overpriced too. I loved everything about this restaurant. The decor is gorgeous and I love how the tables aren't jammed close together. The bar at the front is such a great design idea.

We had a one night stay in Melbourne and found this lovely little Restaurant not far from our hotel. There were 3 of us without a booking and they were so happy to fit us in. The food was amazing and the service from the staff was fantastic! We will definitely be going back again. Thank you for a lovely evening

This newly opened Italian is so very good! The food is authentic and regional and the young Italian waiters are wonderful, friendly and professional. Best of all, the flavours and culinary nuances are incredible.

Dissapointed with this "restaurant". They call themselves an "Authentic Italian Restaurant" and use cream, too much cooking cream, LOL.

Very small portions of prawns in gaberi pasta. Overcooked.

If you're looking for a good meal and experience, don't go there.

Amazing place! We had the best waiter i've ever had. Very attentive and friendly. Atmosphere was amazing and the food was delicious. Highly recommend this place, it is a hidden gem!

This is a great place for CBD lunch.
Excellent pizza of a generous size (I am fussy about pizzas) and a nice selection of wine. We had a bottle of Pizzini Teroldego, not commonly found and reasonably priced.
Lovely wait staff and I will definitely be back.

We went on friday night, service was awesome, fast and very enjoyable atmosphere.

We take gamberi pasta was very nice in texture, flavour and cooked and a pizza funghi also was nice (homemade dough) and flavour was good and well cooked.

We will back for sure.
