La Cucina di Sandra - Italian Cooking Classes reviews
10My wife and I attended the Seafood class and we had a great time. We learned so much about Italian products and where to get them in Melbourne. The food was delicious and cooked with a lot of love: I highly recommend Sandra’s cooking classes.
I received Sandra's vegetarian cooking class as a gift and it was brilliant! We had an amazing time and Sandra is not only knowledgeable, but she explains in a way everyone can understand. As a vegetarian of 7 years, I still learned heaps!
We just had the most incredible evening being guests at Sandra cooking class. I’ve been to a lot of classes in the past but this was, by far, one of the best experiences. Not only was the food outstanding, but Sandra’s passion throughout the class and the knowledge she shared made this a 10/10 for me. The initiate setting made for such a unique and personalised experience, allowed time for her to answer questions and really dive into key techniques so we can confidently recreate the dishes at home. I feel like I learnt so much and we can’t wait to come back and take another class.
My partner and I loved the "La cucina di nonna" cooking class we undertook with Sandra in October. Sandra was friendly, informative and ensured we and the other attendees had a lovely evening.
Highly recommended and both can't wait to try another class
Did the vegetarian class. Had a great time watching Sandra cook four dishes (appetiser, entree, main, and dessert) and learning about Italian cooking. The class is held in Sandra's house around the kitchen bench and you get to watch Sandra prepare each dish, and explain the ingredients, cooking methods and Italian cuisine in general. The guests then move to the dining table and eat the dish just prepared, while Sandra prepares for the next course. Sandra is a great host, happy to answer any questions we had and passionate about imparting knowledge and empowering the guests to begin cooking Italian food themselves. The class is great value, it ran for four hours (!) Definitely recommended and I may well be back to try some of her other classes.
We were lucky to share an evening with friends and Sandra's amazing cooking, she prepared the most delicious flavor's of Abruzzo. Sandra's Rigatoni with Saffron Sauce was the best! Her knowledge of where to get the best ingredients and market choice's is amazing. We had a Italian Feast.
We recently booked a private cooking class with Sandra as a family activity and had a fantastic day! Sandra worked with us to create a suitable menu which took into account everyone's preferences, as well as allergies etc. The food and the setting were beautiful - would highly recommend!
We had a delightful night learning from Sandra and enjoying her delicious and authentic food made with love and passion. She hosted a lovely dinner with great company. Thank you Sandra!
Amazing class not only for delicious food in a cosy setting but for learning about food in a way you hadn't thought about it before. Highly recommend.
My wife had bought me Sandra's gnocchi cooking class for my birthday a couple of years ago and due to lockdown's etc we were finally able to go last week. In the meantime I had "taught myself" how to make gnocchi from You Tube and so was really looking forward to finding out how to do it properly. I learnt a lot from Sandra and got some great tips that I tried out on the family a few days ago - feedback was "this is the best you've ever made" and "yum, this is so tasty", and I had to agree with them!
It was a fabulous experience, and Sandra was such a gracious host with a great home. What she doesn't know about Italian cooking isn't worth knowing.
We may sign up for one of her other classes!
