Amazing food and service. Warm, hearty homemade Italian, and excellent owners/staff who go out of their way to make you feel welcome and have a great dining experience. Truly a gem and my fave restaurant in Beaumaris!

Staff are always very friendly and hospitable, the food is always excellent and are well priced considering the very generous portions. Highly recommended.

Consistency at la cucina is taken very seriously, I've been there several times and the freshly homemade pasta and pizza never let me down: loved the special duck ravioli and the prosciutto pizza is likely the best in Melbourne.
Service is friendly although it can be very messy but the taste and quality of the food make up for it and the aperol spritz is exactly like the Italian one.
This resturant it's a must try for Italian food lovers.

Great service & variety of GF options, we have just moved recently and will be regular clientele. Looking forward to the next pizza & chicken parmie.

The staff are wonderfully friendly and the food delicious. We’ve eaten in and taken away many times, always keen to return.

My personal favourite on the menu is the lamb pizza - best pizza I’ve ever eaten, honestly.

This was our first post COVID outing and we celebrated with authentic Italian fare. Highly recommended! Pasta, pizza and more. I looked the pizzaiolo over the shoulder.you immediately realise that he loves his work with a passion and it shows and tastes accordingly: have a look at this creation: crispy and delicious.

I know, I know, these are tough times. However, when you give an estimated time of one hour, to an order that was placed in the restaurant and the food is not ready one hour and 45 minutes later, you do not give priority to more phone orders, you catch up with orders from folks waiting in front of you. If you cannot even say how long the wait will be and then you dish up cold pizzas, you’re doing something really wrong. Perhaps a tad too greedy.

Headed here for dinner with another couple, didn’t realise it’s a kids party venue. The noise was ridiculous with multiple renditions of happy birthday coming from tables all around. Food was average at best. Appears the target is big groups and families outings. Very disappointing.

Went there Monday night for the first time -a very warm welcome from i think the manager - sorry cant remember name - during the night staff were wonderful and great food - will 100% go back
When we booked we requested outside - when we arrived they had set a table inside as well as outside - they said this was just in case - as the night had turned cool - THANKYOU

Oh gosh, where to start.poor service, mediocre food, noisy atmosphere. If you value quantity over quality, this is the place for you. We were extremely disappointed. Staff were tardy and no exactly rushed off their feet. Busy family restaurant and super noisy. Great place for a large gathering and not overly priced. We wont be returning.

The food here is absolutely amazing and fresh I cannot fault it. However during my last visit I was extremely disappointed too see two of their staff members bullying one of the younger waitresses. I am unsure as too what exactly happened however I saw a chef and another waitress talk to the young girl very rudely. And afterwards she was very upset and looked like she was trying not too cry.
I am unsure as to whether I will return after seeing this. I hope the girl is okay and management deals with this issue

We always like this place. Great service, friendly people, nice atmosphere and good food! Marina Pizza is one of our favourite dished at La Cucina.

Fantastic place to bring a large crowd, they handled it very well. Food was really nice too, service just great.

We have been going to La Cucina for many years now and it never disappoints. Delicious, authentic and consistent food coupled with friendly service is why our family continue to be regulars here.

A warm welcome upon entry and great tasting food that followed shortly after. Staff are very friendly and attentive. Family friendly menu which is always great to see when you have young children. Look forward to going back and trying those pizza’s that went by.

Last night with bunch of friends we had dinner in this place. Food was above expectations for me, especially for their prices they are offering. I usually check menu before going to new restaurant if I have a chance. There was nothing extraordinarily, however when we started dining we were pleasantly surprised. Pizzas were expensive type. I mean based was perfect and ingredients not too many but good quality stuff. Veal from the special menu was very tasty, not overpowering Gorgonzola cheers sauce was perfect match.
Of case not without fouls.we found that italian wine available only after we finish dinner.
Definitely would recommend.

Walk have passed La Cucina a number of times and said to my wife "we must try this place". We should have done it sooner. The service was great. I tried the pizza (many to choose from) and my wife had Salmon. Both meals were excellent. We both agreed we need to find another reason to get back soon. Plenty of parking available.

Disappointing. I ordered the carbonara and was met with the saddest pasta I've ever seen. The bacon was mainly fat and scattered sparsely. The sauce was under-cooked which resulted in an almost soup-like mixture which pooled in the bowl.

The only redeeming factor was the spaghetti itself being forgettable.
