The food was delicious and the staff were lovely. We had the meat platter and vegetarian platter between four of us, and it was more than enough. The staff were super accommodating with our young son. We asked to have a few corn chips for him while we waited for the food and they got it sorted straight away without any hassle. When he got restless, one of the staff even came over and gave him some straws to play with. Really lovely experience, would go back again.
Adeline was an amazing host for us at our brunch today! We have had amazing food and brilliant service! Highly recommend!
Delightful modern Mexican experience, with a fresh, vibrant setting.
Having tried most of the menu, including the quesadila, burrito, corn, calamari, and onion rings (among many others). I can confidently say this taste of Mexico brings a unique and exciting change to the existing Mexican cuisine already in Ballarat.
Prices are great considering portion sizes, and furthermore, the service received has been nothing less than exemplary.
Stop in at La Cabra if you feel like a contemporary spice experience!

This was our first time dining here, we ordered Birria Lamb Enchilada and The Slow Cow Burrito plus a bowl of chips, the food were delicious. Even the chips are fried well. We will definitely come back and try out the other items on the menu. Alcohol drinks are served in this bar/restaurant. I definitely recommend giving La Cabra a try.
We tried the restaurant twice and liked the food overall. They have a limited items on the menu. Pricing is relatively good. They can surely improve on the taste and flavors as I found a bit bland for Mexican cuisine. My biggest disappointment was the lack of welcoming attitude and mismanagement of booking. However my experience could be once off or a personal perspective, I must admit the food came really quick on the table after ordering. Not a bad option if you like Mexican food or takeout.
