Yum! What a lovely and relaxing environment. The food was gorgeous, warm & friendly staff. We'll be back?

I had breakfast here the other day. Friendly service and I didn’t need to wait too long for my food. It was also great that they remembered to ask if I take milk with my Earl Grey tea. My only criticism would be paying extra for mushrooms and receiving five button mushrooms. I would likely not do that again as it didn’t seem justified.

Best place for dinner in Berwick
Definitely 5 stars for service and food.
They build relationships with their customers.
A must if dinning in Berwick.

Pushy staff, seemed unimpressed that I ordered coffee only - when I went to pay, the manager was right in front of me on the register, didn’t acknowledge me and left and sent someone else. I was told “oh that’s all you’re having, coffee? ”
Didn’t think it was crime to purchase coffee only!

There was plenty of tables available as it was during the day so don’t understand why I had been approached three times asking if I’m getting food! Or if my Husband is still dining in with them!

Won’t be returning at all

Delicious as always. Today I tried the poached eggs with sourdough. Thank you staff also for the attention to detail.

Open on Sunday, but only till 2pm. It always was a lovely French restaurant, but all the French-ness has gone. No French decor, no crêpes Suzette, no croque monsieur, no French onion soup.
Please ignore menu on the website at present as it doesn’t represent what they sell. New chef anticipated soon. Let’s hope he’s French….

The chicken avocado sandwhich was beautiful but the red cake was not that great.
The staff are lovely.
I didn't have to wait long for my food either.
Would definitely go again but I would skip the cake next time.

The owner is a gentleman and all the staff are polite. The atmosphere is unique and the food is top quality.

If you live in or are going through Berwick, drop past La Baguette Café and try the greatest Egg, Bacon, Chorizo & Cheese sandwich on the planet.
(I eat breakfast all over the place, so I'm a good judge)

Iv been here few times all ready and they have never let me down, I had the big breakfast and it was bloody Amazing delicious I even went to the worker and said who made the breakfast so I told the chef is was so good:) Even the chai latte was beautiful! Also the place is very clean and neat! 5 thumbs up for this place

First time eating here.the food I ordered was okay a bit salty but my husband and our friends one's seemed to be okay.the service though was excellent can't fault the attentiveness of the waiter.the place is quite nice. I will be recommending it to my friends for sure.maybe my order next time will be better

Excellent food & service. Had a Christmas Party, finger food & drinks. Food was delicious. Enjoyed the atmosphere. They catered to vegetarians too. Great food.

Really tasty food. The chicken remoullade was excellent if a little small in portion size, as was the salmon. Kids enjoyed their meal too. Nice internal ambience and friendly owner, thanks.

This beautifully decorated cafe was the place picked out for a Lovely catch up with some wonderful ladies. It started out well, we ordered order 1pm. They were Very Very helpful with my gluten free requests. Very kind.

Oddly soon after our food arrived, they asked for our coffee orders. By around 2.15pm, the vacuum started at the other end of this nice small cafe.

My friend asked about it after the second vacuum went off right next to us. They Usually close at 3pm, but yesterday decided to close early at 2.30pm. It Would have been nice if they had told us that when we arrived.

The food was ok. I'm gluten intolerant. So they kindly substituted their bun, but it was for 2 pieces of gluten free white bread that became Instantly soggy & not very nice. 3 stars for the food & not being clear about closing early when we arrived.

Wow - the avocado dish on the breakfast menu was sensational! Perfectly seasoned, so much flavour. One of the best smashed avos I have ever had! Highly recommend. Friendly welcoming staff.

Hmmm was so looking forward to a long lunch catch up with the ladies today.
Ordered at 1pm only to be told the Special was completely sold out.
No worries we all order something else.
Friend who is GF ordered the GF option on the burger it came between two limp slices of bread (so not the idea of a burger) apparently it was also very salty?

While we were still eating they wanted our coffee order? Mine came when I was almost finished. We were starting to feel very rushed.

Not long after they started bringing in the outdoor furniture and sweeping and mopping.
The final straw was the vacuum cleaner. While trying to chat and finish our drinks.

Then asked could we please leave.
When I questioned but you close at 3pm it's not even 2.30 yet. Oh yes but we are closing early today.

The 3 stars are for the food.

Excellent customer service and the food great variety not to overpriced, very tasty indeed. Recommend a visit.
