Kyneton Springs Motel

I love this place! Everything was absolutely top notch! Especially the beds! I have never been so comfortable.

Fantastic place to stay - perfectly situated (an easy walk to the Main Street) impeccable rooms & such a friendly owner who couldn’t do enough to help us during our stay. We’ll definitely be back!

Ca even more enjoyable by staying at The Kyneton Springs Motel.
The mood of the place is right out of the 60’s but with everything new added.
The king size bed was the best bed I have ever slept in. So comfortable! And I believe that every bed is new, and so good.
We had a television we could have our Apps play on, or just watch telly!
The usual iron, microwave, kettle and toaster were there as well as the teabags, coffee etc.
The bathroom had toiletries and the best shower.
‘Cleaners’, if you can call them that, were, again, the best people who worked hard but were always there to fill your needs.
I bought merchandise there too!
Cathy and John, the owners I think, were wonderful hosts.
We’ll definitely be staying at Kyneton Springs Motel again and we hope you will too!

Had several stays at KSM. And recently stayed in the new “wing”. The new rooms copy the mid century decor style of the original, but with modern and spacious bathroom and timber cabinetry. And soundproofing is excellent. Doesn’t matter which wing you pick the beds are first rate. The place is a credit to Cathy and John’s creativity and hospitality.

This is such an amazing place to stay. Always a warm welcome! Each room is unique and so clean and comfortable, everything you need for a great getaway. It is located so close to great places to eat out - cafes, restaurants as well as such interesting walks to discover the beauty of Kyneton.

Parking spaces at the Kyneton Springs Motel, were on the tight side.
The spearmint balustrades were a wonderful nod to a bygone era, however, the baby pink doors to each room weakened what could be a fabulous 50's aesthetic.
The bed great, comfortable matress with freshly laundered sheets, let down by worn, thin blankets and excessively synthetic bedspreads.
For a small space, the addition of floor to ceiling dark cupboards, was unnecessarily overpowering and only served to compact the design space in negative manner.
I am curious about the plumbing, as the basin in the bathroom was slow to drain and the basic modern privilege that is hot running water was a struggle.
Finally, in creating a functional, commercial space, an essential element is soul which comes about through a good aesthetic and a great understanding of simple style created with natural materials.

A wonderful place to stay in Kyneton,
this 60s themed hotel has been a labour of love and it shows. Bed was so comfy and the room had everything you could want. The hotel has been completely renovated stylishly. Kyneton is a wonderful place for a weekend away, so close to Melbourne with delicious food.

Not just any Motel this one. Great rooms, excellent and friendly service. A good choice of beer and wine to purchase for your room and the perfect location.

Kyenton Springs Motel is a must. Fantastic hosts Cathie and John. Beautiful new rooms, fluffy towels, added comfort with makeup removal facewasher. Great location, quiet, extremely clean. Highly recommend.

Tucked around the corner away from noise, this mid-century pastels-inspired renovated delight is a fun place to stay at. Easy to book, wonderfully cooked breakfast is better than you can buy outside. Easy to connect Netflix and good quality wifi. Will be back. Thank you

We booked early on the day of our arrival. Kathy was extremely kind and allowed us to check in early. The room was immaculate and we loved the unique design of our room.

What a gem of a place it was. The outside was so clean and pristine, creating such an inviting environment. Inside though amneties were basic everything was absolutely clean. When you think about it you got all your basic needs covered from microwave to kettle to hairdryer. The little hutch operation for breakfast was fantastic. Meant that we didn't have to worry about sleeping late and having to rush off looking for food. And that was a massive yummy breaky too. The location on Piper street itself was so convenient but nestled closer to the river walk meant you get the best of both worlds. Cathy and her partner really take good care of the place and takes extra care to give the necessary privacy to the residents whilst making sure their needs are met. Loves every bit of our stay and felt absolutely safe!

We loved our stay here over the long weekend. The sheets were crisp and clean and the place had a beautiful vibe. A bonus that it was in walking distance to the local cafes and to the walking track around the lake and Botanical gardens. The owner was so friendly and helpful to deal with. We will be back!

Unfortunately expired milk was not just us. Friends of ours who stayed there a week or so earlier also had milk pods in the fridge that curdled their coffee it was so old.

Upon arrival it was evident that the owners were undertaking major renovations. We booked in and found the owners to be kind, friendly and very helpful. The bed was fantastic, the breakfast was perfect and we will definitely be staying there next time we are down that way.

It has been the worse experience I have ever experienced in the motel had really cold shower in a very cold day the heater was not working at all and the stuff was so rude, no one deserves to be treated like that.
