Kyneton Golf Club reviews
11 Nice layout though 3 par 3's of a similar length (175m) is a bit repetitive. Whole course could do with a good dose of flat weed herbicide to get the capeweed under control.
Greens are a good size of a country course and are in great shape and the couch fairways are coming along so in several years will be excellent.
Absolute ripper little club. The course is well kept and provides a few challenges to keep it interesting. Staff / volunteers are all very friendly and helpful, definitely worth a round.
IPlayed bowls against K yneton golf bowls team. The bowling Green is situated inside the golf course grounds.
What a charming friendly welcoming golf club you have. The wood fire was really appreciated when we came in after the first 9. Weather made the golf challenging, we really enjoyed the left and right dog legs holes and ringing the bells and triangles as we went past made us all smile. Thanks for the wonderful experience.
Good club. Haven't played golf for sometime as I have taken up bowls. Well worth visiting and they have a very good bowls green (grass).
So impressed by this country course. Nice and quite with a few kangaroos jumping around. Fairways were well maintained with an honesty box 9 holes for $15 - bargain! Will definitely be back when I'm in the region:)
Great course wonderful people lost me left handed pitching wedge there though hopefully no one has stolen it
This was the first time I've been back for many years. I was blown away at the presentation of the course.
I loved it.
It's a decent enough golf course with grass greens, wandering kangaroos and colourful birdlife. Close to the township of Kyneton it has an honesty box when club house unattended. Like a lot of clubs it seems to struggle for membership and players and could look at how to create some oomph to make joining appealling and value for money.
Nice country course. The condition of the greens is a credit to the club - absolute flawless. Played here on a Friday lunch time and there was only a couple of other cars in the car park. Well worth a round. Good value too - $25 for 18 holes.
