Kurry Up Now reviews
41 That foodie element in me always keeps pushing for new places that deliver fresh, economic and tasty food near me. Just after the lockdown and travel bubble lifting, made me think of going a bit farthest to grab something, which ended up in this truck.
Saw a few crowds in front of the shop and which gave an interesting to check in there. Since I've been roaming around the Western part of Melbourne, especially looking for truck foods, there is a bit of awareness and comparison of taste, quality and price for food that is available.
As a trial, I ordered chilly paneer and garlic naan, which was fairly expensive than other shops ended up in an average taste of appetite. Apart from this, the people who were working were not wearing a mask (however there is still the rule existing!) and didn't have a customer-oriented attitude. When I checked the menu, the lion's share was overpriced when compared to the other similar shops.
However, they took only a fair time for cooking and serving it. That's the only plus point I could find. Food was just regular, nothing as a wow element.
Overall it is a suggestible one for a one time go, but those who want to try something economical but tasty should need to compromise.
Yummy food.especially fish and the indo-Chinese items are like finger licking good.i will recommend you to try this for once if you haven't. I'm sure that you will love that food. The owner (chef) of that truck is very down to earth person always have a big smile on his face. 10/10 from my side
Worst customer service I went to order food and took 10 minutes to take order and very bad service
Best food truck in a town…. This is where i have tasted best food ever. Every item in a menu is yummy. Please try amritsari fish (best taste ever you find in a Melbourne). Malayi soy chaap and malayi chicken tikka (OMG WOW). Highly recommended. Every single item is served will be yummy and definitely you will appreciate it.
Vikas paji has magic hand which makes food soo delicious
I had a good experience and I strongly suggest this place. The location is nice and the staff is friendly and helpful specially a female name Janki:).
Would recommend to try this place, Also beware of your spice limit, Let the staff know if you like spicy or Mild ;)
Food is okay but the wait time is to long! You keep hearing 5 more mins 5 more mins and will end up waiting almost an hour to get your food. Good luck
Brilliant food! One of the best Indian food trucks in Melbourne. Authentic Indian combined with great service! Top job by Vikas, Ruchi & team
I visited Kurry up food cart first time and ordered paneer tikka masala and veg Manchurian.
The Paneer Tikka masala was good
But Veg Manchurian was very bad and it has only sour Test on it.
So, according to you can atlist try them once and see hows your experiences.
We had a wonderful dinner when it was raining in the evening today. Wow! Amazing Indian food. You must try chicken tikka and Amritsari kulcha. Really fresh and authentic food.
Very average
flavours made as per australian standards, not even close to indian taste
portion size was small.we ordered goat curry and all it had were bones and very minimal meat.i could have used it to make goat broth
not at all value for money.can easily eat better food at a good restaurant while seating there
wont be going there again
Great food. One of the better Indian food trucks out there. Had their Honey Chilli Potatoes and was blown away with the taste & quantity. Also love the Paan Kulfi.
Amazing food guys, great experience specially chilli chicken & Amritsari fish. Love your butter chicken. See you soon
First and last time visiting here.it takes 45 mins for your order to be served.some people came in after me and their foods were served.i dont know whether because of the same ethnicity, but it was wrong.once i got my food, the food was not great.wasted my time, effort and money.
Nice place and nice people.
I tried chicken tikka. It is good with medium spiciness and smoky flavour. Portion is too much for 1 person. Little bit smaller pieces with same taste would be more enjoyable. That's my suggestion but depends on one's preference.
Worth trying. There are woodfire pizza truck and other cuisine trucks next to this place.
Finally a place that offers some mild food options. Not everyone likes hot spicy food and nearly every Indian food place we try is always too spicy for our liking. Even when they say it's mild or medium mild, it's way too spicy. But Kurry Up Now have some nice mild options and they'll tell you honestly if a certain dish is spicy or not.
Hats up to ur chilli chicken chef today. One of the best chilli chicken I ever tasted, presentation wow.chaat papri and pani puri was okay too. But food was hot, delivered before time.good packaging.great work
Great experience with Kurry Up Now. They serve delicious food. My first experience was last weekend. I ordered punjabi chole bature.it was so fresh and delicious.
