Kumon Williamstown

I highly recommend Kumon Williamstown centre to anyone looking to introduce academic pathway to their children. Based on well tested traditional teaching methods in mathematics and English it is an amazing environment to teach your child discipline, hard work in a very nurturing setting. I particularly enjoy the personalised approach to teaching my kid. Review of progress is regular and consistent. When required material is reviewed again and learning repeated based on individual need. Given very young age my kid started- she was provided with a lot of support for pre school non reader student. Vani provides regular valuable feedback and reaches out on regular basis to encourage good parent/ teacher communication. Wonderful academic environment to thrive in driving notable progress in numeracy and English. As a parent I feel wonderfully assured about my kid start of prep.

Really enjoying having my daughter attend Kumon Williamstown. The program really supports her progress in the subject of English specifically, while teaching consistency, study habits and time management. It is encouraging to have the support of Vani, her instructor, who closely monitors her development throughout. We have been attending for almost 18 months, and have had pleasing results which have been reflected in school reports and teacher feedback. Kumon is a program which, while different in nature to the school curriculum, complements it nicely.

My 12 year old daughter has been attending Kumon Williamstown for one month now, as she needed support with maths. It has been such a good experience for her and already she has stopped finger counting and grown in confidence. Also the daily routine is direct preparation for when she goes to high school and she is now very good at organising her time too. Vani has been a wonderful support and a very caring teacher. She is always there if we have any questions and we really enjoy how she regularly checks in with all of us as a family. I highly recommend you give it a go.

Our son lacked the confidence in his abilities for maths. Due to COVID and how quickly the school curriculum moves onto new topics with maths he hadn’t yet grasped the fundamentals. Once he began the kumon program he was able to go back to basics and work his way up again, knowing he could do it. He’s confidence has soared and he’s recently received the highest mark for his statistics project in his class. Thank you Vani!

Vani has a wonderful way with the children and demonstrates a strong commitment to their learning. Kumon - English has transformed my son’s literacy capability, from below-grade-level to above-grade-level in one year. In that time, he has made significant gains in his reading and writing - spelling, use of grammar and punctuation. Not only has he advanced academically, he has also made ground on his attitude to learning, becoming more and more self-motivated and focussed. Kumon has been a huge success for our son.

Kumon has been so beneficial for my child. The repetition has helped him immensely and he is so much more confident. Vani is great at communicating and really keeps me in the loop with my child’s progress.

Vani is really easy to engage with and takes lot of effort to ensure that her students succeed in a big way. She is a thorough professional who can enforce discipline while winning over her students. The centre is very spacious with lots of natural lights, make it perfect for students to study.

Called to talk about their “education” and prob the most unprofessional conversation I’ve ever had. Sounded like someone is running the centre from their backyard. I wouldn’t send my child there.
