Korean Kimchi Groceries reviews
15I ordered kimchi and radish from this store and they left a super cute note with the delivery. I would have liked to call and thank them but the phone number was out of service. Thank you team! Such wonderful customer service. It made me smile. I hope you’re all blessed and have a lovely weekend:)
Nice Asian grocer, prices were lower than expected but they had everything you could need.along with a large range of imported ingredients, there are also a selection of western staples.recommend if in the area and need something specific
Great selection of groceries, always has things that are hard to find elsewhere. Very friendly service every time!

Ordered through DoorDash - what I wanted wasn’t available by the time a driver finally got there after an hour+. The lovely lady I spoke to offered multiple different things, and we eventually settled on one I would like. She popped in an extra bottle and wished me a merry Christmas. Wonderful service, and lovely people. Thanks again! And happy holidays to everyone!
Nice little grocery store, the people are friendly, the soju is cheap and they have everything you need.
Stayed at Hanover St during my uni days. This is my go to place for very memorable food stuff. Great selections.
The place to go to get all your kimchi making ingredients that you can’t find at your local Asian grocery store.
This Asia Specific Grocery Convenience Store is brilliant, shelves are packed with unusual niche items incl a full array of VEGAN cooking need incl plant based fish sauce, shrimp paste & anchovies! This store has everybody's foodie needs covered by mixing cross-cultural pantry items on their shelves.
Seriously pasta (GF), napoli sauce, jam & baked beans are stocked in same aisles as every type of instant noodle dish imaginable!
Prices are VERY good for convenience store location & hours, mixed rice crackers & Nori sheets are same cost as an inner suburban supermarket but among a variety that's more tantalising.
Fab flavours of mayonnaise, sauce, curry paste & puddings available to highlight a more simple meal.
Along with a selection of canned, bottled and frozen goods there are the dried products for more complex dishes covering many flavour bases.
SWEET (goji berry/plum)
SOUR (tamarind/lemon ginger)
SAVOURY (fungi/seaweed)
SPICY (chilli/peppers)
These are perfect to get you into a gourmet frame of mind.
A nice selection of teas, sweets and soft drinks to finish up near the register where you'll be served by friendly staff most happy to discuss your food purchases & (vegetarian) cooking.
Range if Asian specialities aren't as vast and varied like the big ones in Springvale but the staff is polite and very helpful.
Complete array of asian groceries you need, from asian cooking ingredients to imported deserts and snacks.very busy store at certain times although they have very efficient and helpful staff on hand.
I kind of hoped for more when looking for a good Asian grocer in Fitzroy. It has some stuff, but mostly everything feels old and expired.
OK folks, listen up. Almost every other review for this place focuses on nice people, cheap grog and good selection. Now ponder this. Does anyone get sauerkraut? Being of Lithuanian extraction, sauerkraut (pickled cabbage) and dill cucumbers are in the blood.
Korean Kimchi Groceries is not just a cute name. Its where you should be going for KIMCH in FitzroyI!
What is it? It's like sauerkrat that's been ramped up to the max using chinese cabbage, white radish, garlic (heaps), chilli (heaps) and fish sauce.
Maybe not for the faint hearted, but definitely worth a go if you've never had it before.
Good reasons for eating it too. It's packed with probiotics (particularly lactobacillus), vitamins and minerals. Them's the benefits of eating fermented foods'
Approach with caution if you're a novice, but I'm betting you'll be a convert in no time' Your garlic breath may not make you the most popular person on a packed tram or train, but HELL! You may get a seat all to yourself!
A little of bit of everything plus a decent booze and ramen selection. The workers are lovely people.

Good place, nice people. Liquor and grocery is cheap compared to others. And they sell Kimchi too!
