Kooyong Lawn Tennis Club

We had the best day watching the Kooyong Classic yesterday but the highlight for me was how wonderful the reception staff were in helping me get my jacket back that I had left behind. They really went above and beyond and mailed it back free of charge. Thank you to Julia and all the girls!

We had a great day here at the tournament prior to the Australian Open 2024. The atmosphere was fantastic with friendly and supportive players and spectators. The tournament was well organised with clear rules and schedules. I highly recommend this event to anyone who loves tennis and wants to have some fun before the AO.

Beautiful way to spend Sunday. Invite only to the restaurant where the food, service and wine was outstanding.

SUPERB location for a private function.quality food, large portions, very good service, classy atmosphere.

Elegant modern venue with friendly staff. Main room holds about 200 with a dance floor, 300 is packed to the rafters with no dance floor and barely enough room to squeeze between tables. Parking is a bit difficult. I had to park in the reserve across the road about 200 metres away. A pain if it's raining!

We had a party of 25 to celebrate a 50th wedding anniversary. We were noisy and hungry but the staff handled it very well and everyone had a great time.

Lovely environment overlooking the grass courts. Took 2.5 hours for main dish to be served.
Really disappointing after great experiences in previous years.
Roast Turkey meal very ordinary with three chunks of pre heated Turkey roll, no stuffing and served on overcooked spinach?

Great Dinning experience in a Private Club. Well groomed waiters from the younger to the old school experienced. Food was deliver quickly and very fresh. Squid Salad an great balance of flavours, with fresh local squid. Thai Beef salad a good interpretation of Thai/Asian flavours. Food pricing very competitive. A great selection of Wines, some by the glass and bottles. Well worth the visit.

Fantastic venue and very local. I've enjoyed both formal and casual dinning there. Lovely for functions and social gatherings, especially day time looking over the grass courts on the terrace. Great facilities. I love having tennis lessons there as well - Michael is an amazing coach.

This is an iconic, historical and prestigious Melbourne sporting venue with excellent grounds, 52 tennis courts, tennis and club member facilities, and as well as a Tennis Pro Shop, has first class dining and function rooms for both casual dining and special occasions such as birthday and wedding celebrations, and corporate functions.

Came here to attend a luncheon recently. First time here and was impressed by the venue, food and staff. Actually will be back for another function in the next month, which I partially decided to go to based on it being here.

Attended a formal function here for the first time. Really friendly service, delicious food and great facilities. The chicken Parma was thick and juicy, not just thick batter. Delightful dessert.

Was very disappointed with dinner. The duck was tough and presented as one piece rather than sliced. The knives were inadequate to cut the lamb rack. The staff were attentive and excellent.

I absolutely love Kooyong and am proud to be a member, the facilities are the best, the grass courts and en tout can courts are always well maintained, the food is excellent and the staff are fabulous, great atmosphere. It is a club where you can be proud to bring anyone from interstate or overseas and be sure everything would meet all expectations. I think it is the best Tennis Club in AustraliaI love it

Vision Australia function overlooking centre court! Life doesn't get much better! Beautiful lunch and stimulating speakers regarding the work they do providing services to people with low or no vision. The photo below is of a breeding dog and qualified black Labrador

Great facilities, courts, pool 25m indoor, sauna, billiard tables, racquet shop and hire, 2 x good restaurants.

Great facilities, amazing quality courts but the food service was pretty slow. Can't fault them on that though, as they brought the toddler's food our super quick - clever! Also enough space for an active toddler to run around!

A great place for corporate functions and group gatherings, this service here is excellent as is the food. Looking forward to the next visit.
