Koonya General Store

Good store with a wide range of hot foods to be sure to feed even the hungriest kids. Really reasonably priced and all the food I have had has always been delicious. Would recommend the Koonya store over al other stores for a quick, cheap and tasty lunch/breakfast.

Got a snitty roll opened it looked like they thee it around a few times and warmed it up so much the lettuce or leaves had shrivelled up and was piping hot? Bread roll was flat. Service was rushed and stressed yeah not again

Overall, arguably the best one stop lunch spot this end of the peninsula! Great coffee, fresh food, friendly service AND THE BEST POTATO CAKES down this way, the sangas are elite too!

5 stars for a genuine classic Aussie beachside general store that gets it right with fresh veggie wraps, salads, and comfort food, a mini mart style, the staff are always fun, young and local types. This is totally authentic Australiana.

My kids and I love this store, when we head out for a beach day, we always stop for lunch and grab some cooked yummies. Be prepared to queue, but don't stress, the line moves fast they have plenty of staff and a good system for moving through the busy lunch line.

The selection this store offers for freshly cooked breakfast lunch and dinner options is nutbustingly good and on top of this the variety of snacks and groceries is equally as wide. Big fan of the Big Breaky.
