Koonwarra Family Holiday Park

Excellent caravan park. Excellent site that had plenty of room for our larger van. Nice amenities block.

Very well located where you can just walk across the street to the foot paths that take you right into Lakes Entrance and the footbridge to 90 mile Beach.
Staff wonderfully helpful.we had one of the older units which was beautifully clean and comfortable. Parked motorbikes directly outside which was secure. Very good value

Very basic facility. No additional towels or sheets were provided.

The swimming pool was not clean.

The kids game room was chargeable, but none of them functioned even after getting the coins

A big tick is a huge clean BBQ areas with all facilities available. Clean rooms, toilet and bathroom.

Cosy cabin, clean and very well priced. Great amenities and a very tidy park with child friendly things to do. Office staff very helpful and lovely to talk to. Highly recommended.

The lady at the front desk was lovely! There is a games room, playground and pool here. The rooms are a bit dated but comfortable, the room was clean and the hot water was a good temperature.

Bit rundown, feels crowded, lots of bitumen, old cabin with tiny kitchen lounge area but big bedroom. Great pool though.

Stayed there for 2 nights the one we where booked into had ants, So went and seen the manager about it she moved us to a up stairs room it was dirty and didn't small clean at all very disappointed after the money we paid got up the next morning and found bugs in the room we differently will not be back.

Well over priced for what you get, I have stayed down the road at another accommodation for half the price with twice the size rooms, very disappointed for the money we payed

Honestly couldn't be happier, Jo was very friendly and kind despite me getting here late she welcomed me with a beautiful smile, the apartment was beautifully clean and another thing that i absolutely loved was the heated blanket

Booked A cabin online friendly service but when we got to our cabin was not the cabin that I booked the smell inside of it was horrible smelt like old lamb fat place was dusty like no one had been in it for awhile and there was cobwebs in the corners with bugs living in them was not happy

We only had a overnight stay here but from what we have seen it's a really nice place and friendly staff.

Kids enjoyed the games room also.

Do not go there. Cleanliness is sub standard. Amenities not cleaned for 10 days and toilet dispensers not filled. One cubicle had no paper for six days. Please teach your staff about cleanlines and to check toilet dispensers daily.

Lovely service - very happy to accommodate a change in dates. Really cosy cabins and nice and clean. Great location close to the water.

Pros:
Front staff was really kind and courteous.
Kitchen was very well equipped.
Facilities were plenty with a BBQ area, games room and swimming pool.

Cons:
The thing that most people book an accommodation for is for the peaceful sleep, but there was no peace to be had. The single bunk beds (metallic) and the double bed (wooden) were both creaking on the smallest of shifts. It was impossible to get any sleep all night.

Air con and exhaust fans weren't working, so asked to get it checked out. Must've been a trip because the guy came in and turned it on and made it seem like we weren't being patient enough.

We rented a 3 bedroom cabin for the night as a pass through as we were travelling through, as 2 couples, its nice to have some space and areas to yourself, not in this place, the smallest 3 bedroom cabin ever. The main bathroom/toilet was unusable, couldn't turn around, ensuite was a decent size, but the fact the dining table has only 5 chairs and it's a cabin for 6, said alot. (No space) The aircon didn't work, a steamy night, with no aircon, obviously hadnt been used in a while as there were bugs in the shower, sinks, no run through of the property before guests arrive, lights that didn't work, even fence pailings around the back on the ground, with nails pointing out of them, how did I know, I stepped on it, lucky it went past my toe or otherwise I'd be in a bad way. We paid a quite a high price, and to receive really average service, unclean, and deceiving pictures of spacious and sea views, its very disappointing. The overall place is and location is nice, but I'd never recommend anyone to stay here.

We've stayed here before with the van. This time the cabin was most enjoyable. Very good set up with everything I needed. Price was acceptable. Easy walk to town along the boardwalk.

Beautiful area with an abundance of black swans. A gentle walk along the water is perfect when the weather permits.
