I have 2 boys attending KK Brighton and they just love going there. The manager Chelcee and her wonderful staff are always so welcoming and accommodating. The staff are dedicated and caring and I love the variety in educational activities they do. There’s 2 huge play areas with the bonus of one being undercover, so the kids can still enjoy outdoor play if it’s raining. Thank you Chelcee and all the team at KK for providing a safe and fun environment for my boys.

My son has been attending kool kidz for over a year now and I can not find a single fault in the kool kidz system or staff. The staff post updates on the ap daily so I can see what my child has had to eat, when his nappy has been done how long he slept for and see all the fun activities he has done that staff have put together for the kids.
The staff are very kind enthusiastic and put in alot of effort into the care they provide not only my son but his peers aswell. Chelcee the manager is very easy to get along with and makes the transition smooth.

Have made my daughter and I extremely welcome. They made accommodations for our family's particular circumstances and it has made me feel supported and understood. My daughter loves it there and I feel safe/happy knowing shes in great hands. Finally, the music and sport co-curricular activities were an added and very exciting bonus.

My kids have been attending Kool Kidz since 2019 and I have always been so happy with their service. From the baby room, now to the kinder rooms, my kids have been well cared for and supported. Shoutout to the manager, Chelcee, as well who has been wonderful.

Our little one has just completed his first you at Kool Kidz Brighton. The educators have been absolutely incredible and always go above and beyond. Everything from the food to the care and experiences they provide the kids is amazing. We are always so excited to hear what they get up to each day. Highly recommended! Thank you to Chelcee and the team!

My 1 year old daughter started Kool kidz Brighton a few weeks ago and absolutely loves it. The staff are very welcoming, she is already so confident and comfortable there. I love that educators update the app throughout the day so I can quickly check how well she napped while I am at work. I also love that they also take photos daily for the parents to see the fun activities they do. The manger Chelcee and all the staff are amazing. I really highly recommend Kool kidz Brighton.

My 2 and 3 year old absolutely love going to care every day! They never want to leave! We absolutely adore all the educators and couldn’t ask for anything more. Bonus the play area is undercover so the kids can play outside even if it’s raining!

Our son is warmly welcomed by all the staff by name every morning he attends. The staff are fantastic at communicating with us and our son. The staff come up with the most creative activities for the children.

My daughter has just started here and what can I say. Amazing, the educators are so attentive and have created a relationship with her already. I feel happy knowing she is safe and excited to come here. Chelcee, the director among other staff have been very welcoming.

The team at Kool Kidz Brighton are wonderfully attentive to your kids and communicate their care well through their app, email and over the phone in times of emergency. Its a relatively new centre and all facilities are mondern and in good order. The food is delicious. We are sad to be leaving the area and needing to take our daughter out of their excellent care.

Amazing service to be a part of. Our daughter has been attending since she was about 5 months old and is now 3 years old. I honestly believe that her time at Kool Kidz has made her the smart, kind and incredible child that she is today.

With respect to a previous negative review, I certainly understand how the parent would be feeling in that situation.

In contrast, we have had a completely positive experience. Our child has been going to Kool Kidz Brighton for over year and I can confidently say it is a fantastic childcare with high levels of engagement, activities, sense of community, security, level of care, education, culture, food and everything else they do.

They provide daily updates with summaries of the days events along with photos and videos, how long the kids have slept, how much and what they've eaten for breakfast/lunch/afternoon tea to even how many nappies they've had (and if it was bowl movement or wet!).

They are an excellent childcare that have had a recent incident which I firmly believe was an isolated event and not representative of their overall excellent service and quality of care.

Thanks to all the team at Kool Kidz Brighton for all your amazing work!

SEVERE FRACTURE SUFFERED BY MY SON WHILE UNDER CARE OF KOOL KIDZ. UNREPORTED TO PARENTS.

My 2yo son had a spiral femur fracture with displacement at Kool Kidz Brighton, with the centre not reporting the incident. I got a call from staff to pick up my son as he ‘was not himself when he woke up from his nap’, only to find him screaming and in agony when I picked him up. My son was clearly in distress, shaking and couldn’t walk. The staff never assisted me to call a doctor, or even to carry him to my car. I took him to the GP, and later to the Emergency Department, where it was confirmed he had a complex femur fracture and had to have surgery, followed by 2 months of him being in a spica plaster cast (covering from toe to chest) – completely immobilised; and another 4 months until he was able to walk again without a limp.
Nobody from Kool Kidz followed up, and when I raised this with them, the Manager tried to pretend it hadn’t happened under their care. The Victoria Police investigation confirmed that the incident did happened while under their care.

The VP forensic report concluded my sons fracture was I quote: “caused by a significant high-energy event” and that, “such an injury would be painful, and the child would have immediately demonstrated signs of pain and distress and been unable to walk normally". "The story provided by childcare stuff, however, that the child 'woke up' with symptoms is difficult to understand in the context of this injury. A significant high –energy event has caused the fracture and this appear to have gone unnoticed or unreported by staff'. "This raises serious concerns about he level of supervision and attentiveness provided to the child. "

The DET’s investigation concluded Kool Kids failed to provide care, and seriously breached the Education and Care Services National Law Act 2010 and National Regulations 2011, confirming that that KK failed to ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of the children being educated and cared for by the service and did not comply with the timely notification of the incident to the emergency services for its urgent attendance.

I understand accidents can happen, but KK’s misleading response to this incident was just unacceptable. This was demonstrated by their concealing attitude in relation to the cause of the accident and total lack of transparency, followed by no attempts to provide us with any communications or to investigate the accident, to address/prevent future issues.

As a mother feel I have a duty to our community to inform what happened to my son while under Kool Kidz care. I really don’t want other parents to go trough the despair and anguish I went through not knowing if my son would ever recover.

DO NOT send your child to Kool Kidz –I will highly advice against trusting your young children to this childcare. They don’t seem to care about their wellbeing nor to implement and follow proper policies and procedures to ensure children are safe.

At first i wasnt going to write a review or make a big fuss because the staff were always so friendly, it makes it hard to name names especially since im sure they will know who is writing this.but after reading about what happened with the little boy with the femur fracture, i feel i should let others know about my experience with kool kids as well.my son attended kool kids brighton for over a year, i was happy with their service and care until paras left, one day after picking my son up i went to change his nappy only to discover he was wearing the same nappy i left him in that morning, from around 9am til 4pm he had not been changed once.the week before i noticed his water bottle empty and not refilled when i picked him up.there were times when i would pick him up from the upstairs playground and his water bottle would still be downstairs in the rooms.i also dont think anyone was monitoring how much he was eating during his time there as he would eat like a starving child as soon as i put him in the car.

On our last day there (the 2019 christmas party) i saw a little girl about 12mths sitting in the sandpit eating dirt covered sandwich crusts from guests discarded plates on the floor.she was alone and no one was watching over her for about 25mins, in the end i had to alert one of the carers myself.i would be horrified if that was my child.my experience was nowhere near as bad as the child with the fracture but things like having my childs nappy changed, eating and having water freely available for him at all times are very important.the fact that these basic nessessities were being neglected says it all.i was hoping that with the new centre management things had improved after we left but looks like its gotten even worse.

Kerri and the team at Kool Kidz have gone above and beyond for my son. Recently moving to the area we not only gained a personalised education for him- but a genuine welcoming into the community. Would recommend for any parents who are looking for a service that is professional and prioritises family.

I would like to share my experience with everyone at Kool Kidz brighton, my 3 year old son attends the centre 2 days a week and absolutely loves it. The educators attend to his needs and show so much love and care for the children as if they were their own. My son loves the food, his peers, educators, and the detailed experience to cater for all the children’s needs and doesn’t like when it’s his time to go home, he would rather stay. Each day, my son comes home with a huge smile on his face and the excitement of him telling me about his day amazes me.
I would highly recommend sending your children to Kool Kidz Brighton, Kerri and the management team are amazing, and always happy to help us to the best of her abilities. Extremely happy with my experience here, I will be so sad when my son attends school next year.

Our now 7 month old son has been attending Kool Kidz Brighton since he was 4 months old as I had to go back to work (which was a hard thing for me being a first time mum). The level of care the Educators have given our son is beyond words, they always communicate how his day has been, and they also plan to his needs and development.
The service manager and other educators have also been so supportive to our family which has helped us feel comfortable in leaving our son in their care.
Everyone has there own personal choice on where to send your child/children, but i highly recommend giving them a call and having a look for yourself.

I would like to thank Kerri and the team at Kool kids. They have always gone above and beyond to help me and my son transition into childcare. Their communication has been clear I get a full picture of his day, they are always so friendly. My son comes home happy, that’s what a mum wants to know he is happy and being so well looked after with the ladies at cool kids.
The experiences that he receives here are amazing. Everyone is so engaging and my son I can see has a real connection with the ladies. He runs in to give and receive hugs. He has grown so much as a little person.
Thank you for teaching him when I can’t and have to go to work. I appreciate you all so much.

Since Paras has taken over Kool Kidz Gardenvale the centre has become with out a doubt the best childcare in Brighton our child loves coming to Kool Kidz Paras has employed the most amazing staff they are so loving towards the children.
The place has such a warm friendly feel to it. Paras is there every morning greeting us all with a smile she gives our child a cuddle every morning as we arrive. In the evening Paras is Still at the centre she’s always happy to listen us parents & goes above and beyond to help us. The centre it self is so spacious and always clean.
