Koko Black reviews
58Hot chocolate was still delicious, but we found a problem with the employee's attitude. Even though they were not busy, they couldn't handle it properly as they did not get used to the work. Then I though they had to help each other and solve it. As if it wasn't their jobs, the workers worked like a private business and other customers and I couldn't receive proper service.
I come here regularly with my toddler. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. We had a small broken glass incident and they caused no dramas and ensured my daughter was okay.
Bad customer service at koko black - highpoint. Non welcoming and unhappy staff at the front counter!
We’ve never felt this at any other koko-black outlets.
If you like Koko black chocolate then you will like this store. Clear, classy, and serves great chocolate. What else is there to say really.
If you have a "one item per person" policy on certain products, please put it on your website and marketing materials; wasted my time coming down here today get a lune croissant for my partner.
I understand WHY such a policy exists.there's a limited quantity, you don't want one person buying the lot, that's fine.just put it on your marketing so people know in advance and don't waste their time.
I intended to buy a bunch of other products too but was so dejected that I just left, so a good to lose money.
Coffe was so so but the raspberry chiffon cake was really good with just the right amount of sweetness.
And to our enormous surprise we were given gift bags! What a lovely surprise!
So of course, we're going back again!
My friend and I visited here this week and had a great experience being served by the lovely Mim! She was so friendly and helpful - really went above and beyond. We will definitely be back!
It’s my 1st time here and I just loved the Hot chocolate Affogato. It’s a must try one of a kind hot chocolate drink. And thanks to Ebony for her excellent service and making me comfortable I came in with my two cranky little ones?
Lovely lady was very helpful, their power points are locked off so I was kindly directed to the atrium with power points everywhere, also a better food court than floor 3.
Went over there to get hot chocolate, however the staff was quite inexperienced.had to wait a long time for her to figure out the gift box price.
If ur looking for relaxing place to get a good coffee or ice chocolate. Yup this one here! They also have some sweets lots to choose from.
Was told to take a seat and someone will be with us, watched as 3 others were seated and served while we couldn't get anyone to even look our way to get service, we ended up walking out because service was non existent.avoid at all costs
The worst customer service experienced I. High point shopping centre
The chocolate gift boxes advertised with its price mentioned in the front starting from 19.99 till above $50 including a gift box for alll sizes.
But look like they had shortage of boxes so they wanted to charge $6 more, then when I asked why your advertising saying 19.99 with the gift box, they offered to charge $3 for the box instead of $6
Then after rude conversation with 2 of the workers, they offered the same price at the same service.
Absolutely will never step into a shop like that anymore.
Disrespectful teenager front worker who said (obviously the boxes are not for free)
I promise you, you will be visited by authorities will fine you for miss leading clients.
Coffee was just luke warm, on request good customer service as it was replaced with another new hot one. Maybe it was closing time as it was about just 6: 00 pm
The whole thing felt a little manufactured/plastic. Of course, it would, being in a shopping centre.
But still, can't give it more than 4/5. Iced coffee was good though.
It was my second time popping in for a coffee in the last two weeks. Both times the waiter was very awkward and rude. She was also quite inattentive. I also felt like I was racially attacked as she offered both people sitting on my left and right a complimentary chocolate and walked right pass me.
I went to get my free hot chocolate that was on the advent calendar. The staff member did not know what the freebie was. The manager was then brought over. The manager also did not know. I would think staff would be aware of the 25th December advent calendar was a free hot chocolate. While I was ordering a family of 6 unmasked pushed in front of me asking for a table. It was rude. I felt anxious. I had the hot chocolate out the front of the store. Poor customer service and unmasked patrons cutting in line. Won't return.
I have visited several times before and was impressed with service and quality of the coffee. It's hard to find a decent cup of coffee in Highpoint. Koko Black is more expensive but the quality is normally pretty good. I was very disappointed today all new staff again and the drinks were all pretty average. I has two coffees to see if the first was a one off. Unfortunately it wasn't the so called large coffee was cold and mainly froth and nothing else. I would be surprised it there was more than 200ml of coffee and they were supposed to be large. My wife said her coffee tasted pretty ordinary and my grandson had a child's hot chocolate made in a thimble at a $6 price tag.
All in all today's visit was underwhelming and I probably won't bother heading back anytime soon.
The girls was very welcome but the guy who works with them so rude with customers and they get back to him to talk to people to request their order quickly: (
Never get back
Pathetically rude staff. Abrupt and unwilling to accompany patrons. A polite gesture to say, can only have take away at this point in time (5pm) on late night shopping (Thursday) instead of making us wait outside unnecessarily and telling us to go away (improvised)
