Very poor customer service. Staff are unwelcoming, seem as if they don’t want to be there, and lack empathy towards the elderly. Witnessed an elderly gentleman with a walker sit down around closing time, waitress cleaning all tables around him telling him they are doing takeaway coffees only - that is understandable, however, waitress could of offered to take this man’s order as he was only after a coffee, was by himself and would of been around 80-90 years old, could tell he did not understand that she wouldn’t take his order and was confused. Elderly man got up to leave as no one would help him which was just heartbreaking. We decided to go after him and offer to go in and get his coffee for him, for which he was extremely grateful for. Waitress could have easily taken his order for him and bought the coffee (in a takeaway cup!) outside to him, instead of expecting him to navigate his walker up the steps. A bit of empathy and kindness goes along way. This cafe used to be very welcoming and our go-to place, we won’t be going anymore.

I'm fussy about my coffee and that Caffe Latte was very nice. Good tasting coffee! The selection of food is very good and the chicken and avocado sandwich was awesome. Will visit there again when I'm in the area.

Delicious! And the staff are amazing…. They are always so busy…. So please people be kind if you have to wait…. We are all human!

Nice coffee shop with ambiance in Croydon serving a cup. The shop is head and shoulders above other coffee shops in the close proximity, true coffee shop vibe with polite and pleasant staff and a good selection of fresh treats.

This cafe has a menu with a Moroccan twist. I ordered the Turkish Pizza with winter veg, caponata, olives, feta and basil ($16.00) and a latte ($4.20). Table service is provided here and they also have colouring pencils for the kids. There is seating inside, out the front, and in the courtyard out the back.

I love coming here, the food is so beautiful and the staff are always wonderful. Even in busy times (which is often) they make you feel seen and heard, anytime I’m in croydon I come here and always enjoy whatever I order.

Great atmosphere and the staff are awesome and welcoming! Only thing is that the coffee is hit or miss. Sometimes burnt, sometimes wonderful! I'd say that the reasons I first listed are the reasons I keep going back.

Still one of my favourite eateries. I do like to try different places from time to time, but Kofi Beans is one I tend to return to more often.

This place has pretty good food. Unfortunately I have been here on numerous occasions where staff have been overheard complaining about customers and have also been rude to other employees.on Sunday when going for brunch the cafe was in complete disarray. We were first greeted by a waitress who was stressed and offered us a table out the back. In the court yard many of the tables hadn’t been cleared. Whilst waiting to be served we could see employees being yelled at by another employee about taking coffee to the wrong table, then the same waitress running around aggressively pushing chairs out of the way in a rush asking who’s coffee order it was to patrons then dumping it on an empty table when she couldn’t find who ordered it, she then walked off. The vibe was very uncomfortable and awkward. At this point we decided to leave amongst other patrons as being there was too unpleasant.
It’s such a shame because I really enjoy the food here.

Everything hits the spot here! The service is fantastic. Such pleasant and bubbly staff. Pet friendly and prices are fair.

Had to wait at counter over 10 minutes while they attempted to take my order. $7 iced drink that came without ice so it was warm. Not set with water or cutlery.

This place has great food and coffee.cannot deny that but don't have the doors open just before 7.30am and I walk in and you rudely say WE'RE NOT OPEN! I'm not coming back now!

Worst coffee ever.lady barrista very rude.maybe to early for her.she should smile more.get a new job if u cant be nice to customers.will not go there again.

I highly recommend this cafe! The staff went above and beyond when my daughter was crying and the food is always delicious and the coffee well made. The childrens baby cakes is very exciting and well priced, it was so good we ended up getting a second serve because she inhaled it. It has an amazing exotic vibe and makes you feel as though you have had a lovely outing experience and not just a number. I can also recommend the three cheese eggs! I rolled home. I also love the book shop across the road and how many beautiful dogs are being take out in the area. If you’re looking for somewhere new to try or haven’t been in awhile its a lovely way to spend some time.

I'd recommend checking out the cute courtyard out the back. The food and coffee were fine but my avo on toast had a slightly weird flavour and my side of mushrooms were totally bland.

The best Cafe I've been to in ages, super great staff always smiling and laughing, wonderful atmosphere.
A pleasure to go and have fruit toast and lactose free coffee when in Vic.
