I have been shopping at Koala Living Essendon branch since 2019. I had a great experience shopping there. The staff are really helpful and knowledgeable about their products. They can also help you to match your items to make a complete set.

As for the products, I love their quality and their pricing is very reasonable, specially when they are on sale. They have a very good customer service. I had a faulty clock and upon contacting (email) koala team, the team replaced the clock within a week.

I will continue to shop at Koala living.

After reading sooooo many horrible reviews, we were honestly afraid that we were about to experience the exact same! Even more so because we had ordered our Rafiki Bench Mango Wood on November 30 2020, told we would be receiving it mid March 2021, called early March to double check was still on track, only to be told not quite sure when you will receive it, called a second time and was now told it would be May! Naturally I was alarmed cause numerous negative reviews had two commonalities: extremely late deliveries and the received product turning out to be of inferior quality, so I kindly and firmly demanded that my inquiry be escalated as their Call Centre Staff were extremely unhelpful. I find that when Australian companies have overseas call centres, A LOT gets lost in translation, but apologies as I digress (that's a whole other story, lol). Anyways I was then contacted by Charini who was professional and lovely, confirmed my bench was now arriving at it's original time frame of mid March (so not sure why I was advised otherwise previously), and I also stressed to her that I had read numerous reviews where customers were receiving inferior products, and would be returning mine back if likewise! But luckily i can say that our Rafiki Bench Mango Wood is exactly as per the pictures, we absolutely love it (we are waiting on a custom made cushion for it to arrive), and will then fit perfectly in our hallway! Now to conclude, my partner and I thought that maybe we were just lucky with our order, maybe Koala Living has now improved their quality control, or maybe cause we stressed to Charini that we were aware of negative reviews, and stressed would return our bench etc, maybe she made sure our order was 100% satisfactory before it left their warehouse. Who knows, but all we can say is that credit must be given where it's due and are extremely happy with our purchase.

I just wanted to let you know of the absolutely disgusting experience I have had with ordering with this company through the DFO store at Essendon Airport I ordered a coffee table halfway through this year to be told that that would arrive in November which was fine, I had to constantly call the store to find out what was taking my table so long to arrive after the die date.
I had no correspondence from the store whatsoever this took place through December and January with me ringing constantly I had drive down to the store two weeks ago because I could never get anyone to pick up the phone in the store or return any of my messages that was l left on there answering machine a koala living at Essendon dfo I was told that I would get a reduced rate for a delivery fee which I thought was absolutely disgusting I had waited all this time the least your company could have done was deliver my item to me free of charge considering I had to drive to DFO every time I wanted an answer about my coffee table since no one would ever return a phone call or a message that I had left.on the 27th of this month I finally had the coffee table delivered at a very inconvenient time of 7: 30 p.m. At night the two men that delivered my table walked into my home their personal body hygiene and the odor that come off them from perspiration was absolutely disgusting I was dry retching in my entrance of my own home and when they left I had to open up all the doors and I also had to spray the area with Glen 20 to try and get some of the smell away it lingered in my home for a good 5 minutes this is not acceptable when dealing with customers and with my experience with koala living I can promise you that I will never buy one piece of furniture from you again I will never give a good review about you if I ever see a Forum about your company I will be sharing the horrible experience that I have had since the middle of the year and I hope to warn other people to not go through what we've gone through. You need to address your truck drivers hygiene standards I have never in my life experienced anything so disgusting. Regards

Love this company's furniture however I have found that orders I have placed at another Koala and Tree location seems to arrive quicker? Still waiting for 5 lounges from this store that I ordered back in March and was told some would be ready late May. Customer service hasn't bothered to inform me of delays either, its only when I chase them up that I find out its been pushed out another month. Whereas an order I placed through the other store after this one, has already been fulfilled.

We’ve been served by Monica who assisted us greatly and helped us choosing the right choice of sofa for us. She is very professional and knowledgeable, suggested us few other options as well. Very much satisfied and highly recommend Monica for her great customer service.

It has taken us nearly a year to get a small table we ordered and have had countless excuses. They are seriously disorganized. Will never buy from them again

A lady at the counter was so rude. We have been waiting in the queue for so long and while waiting for our turn she served 2 people out of the queue to which we objected and she was like why we questioned? She told they might be from different queue. When we told there is 1 queue and she should be aware who is waiting next in the queue she was adamant. Luckily her colleague was aware of what's happening and controlled the things. It has been a very bad experience as a customer.

Visited recently to buy a couch. They have a very nice collection and premium quality furniture. Would definitely recommend if you are in Melbourne and planning to buy quality furniture with good prices. The staff was also friendly and helpful.

Love Koala Living, Highpoint & DFO Essendon stores, they have some stunning items for your home that are different, which is what l love. I brought 2 lamps from the DFO store very happy. I have also brought a hall stand and mirror which is due to be delivered next week. If you join as a member you will also get a further discount.

Amazing price for a solid stylish table! It's always great to get something non-Ikea that's affordable. Huyla was very friendly and approachable. She made the decision very easy. Give her a raise.
