Knox Tavern

Not many customers. Staff were reasonably attentive.
Food was not good. Lasagne overcooked on the sides and the calamari was chewie!

This is a great friendly place with all different places to go and visit inside like TAB pokies meals outside dining smoking areas and extremely friendly staff. Was definitely happy to find this place.

Went for dinner with a friend.
Ordered chicken caesar without anchovies. No problem removing anchovies and it was the best chicken caesar salad I have ever eaten. Well presented and flavoursome for a salad.

Food is rubbish. Ribs were predominantly fat with the tiniest hint of meat.
Ordered a “rare” steak without a sight of pink in it, tasteless & tougher than a boot.

Head over to the local soup kitchen for a better feed than what you’ll receive from this mediocre establishment!

I had the seniors calamari and it was the best I've eaten in a long time.

Service was good and the place had a nice feel about it.

An enjoyable outing with my friends. Will go again.

Starting with the positives about this place, it has great ambience, food portions are very generous in line with the price, service was great.

With a party of 7 we ordered a wide range of foods, steak, honey mustard chicken and wings. The steak was almost well done when requested to be rare, and overall to pay $37 for a steak of that quality and size was seriously ridiculous, the wings were underwhelming aswell. Also due to policy you cannot take away leftovers.

Only thing I was truly impressed with was the Parma size and taste!

As a Senior I find the Tavern a great place to catch up with friends. Good menu great staff comfortable seating both for dining and for chatting.
Never feel hurried when there.

Ordinary food. Skin not crisp on the small piece of fish, salad was tiny, and sauce was thin and average tasting.

My partner and i arrived right on 2: 30pm. They still seated us and took our orders. The meals came out really quick and the food was delicious. We'll definitely be back.

Large group, they gave my garlic bread to someone else on my table and when I asked about it, they said “I know you ordered one, but we have brought all 3 out” and then wouldn’t bring me mine.food average, plenty of better food options at Knox. Well priced though

Food was delicious, drinks were awesome.unfortunately had to wait quite a while for dinner to be served but given that it's a Friday night I guess that's to be expected anyway. Overall though, fantastic service. Would recommend to friends and family:)

Nice evening out. Food goo, I had the porterhouse - well cooked. Usual kids meals and massive parmas.

We had Seniors risotto which was delicious, but the vanilla slice dessert was a disgrace. It was a mess on the plate.

We visit regularly for dinner or lunch and sometimes a play on the pokies. Always good meals and service.

Very close to home and they still have the coin option available, most other venues have the ticket way to cash in your money. Still a good place to go to has a great place to watch sport, like sitting in your lounge area with comfortable seating and large outdoor seating areas.

Haven't been for years, so didn't know what to expect. We had a lovely lunch today. Everyone enjoyed their meals, very generous serves, including the seniors meals. Staff were friendly.

Great meals, healthy servings. They look after seniors. Beer on tap is beautiful. Thoroughly recommend. Book in advance

Food came out cold roast pork. Garlic bread never arrived after asking 3 times for it and being told it was on the way and finishing our meals they came over and gave our money back. A bit of an insult. Senior meals were very small. Would not recommend this place.

Soggy cudelfisch not calamari as an menu. Desing everwere.not up to pare for the $ 50 dollars I spend

Great service, lovely local pub, good was yum and reasonably priced. Will continue to be a customer)
