I have never felt more belittled and embarrassed than when I visited doctor Vijitha, do not go to her for any reason especially for a second opinion

I have found Dr Zahoor Ahmad is very quick to prescribe antibiotics to my son and us, been there around 3 times and each time we were prescribed antibiotics. I sought a second opinion later on but all the doctors here are fantastic

I have been with Knox Gardens Medical Center for over 10 years and have chosen to remain with them even when I have moved to various suburbs. Always impressed with the dedication of both doctors in the practice as well as those at the front desk. Thanks to KGMC for always looking after me & family so well. Gaya@Mitcham

Great local GP, warm greeting, friendly staff, fantastic service, my doctors are Dr. Bashir and Dr. Vijitha, Dr Bashir very funny, really nice as well as professional, my daughter loves him and Dr. Vijitha is a warm, friendly and professional doctor too, she helped me with my health, i really love this medical centre.

He is one of the the best GP I have ever seen. He is an expert in identifying the reason for the illness and provides the best medication…Thanks Dr. Bhaker based on my experience I have expressed my thoughts with other GPs.

Poor communication, especially Robyn at reception with bad attitude. Happened few times now she always shows attitude.

Deciding to come to this clinic for all my basic medical appointments is one of the greatest medical decisions I've made.

I was so sick of other practices not caring about appointment times and always running 40-60 minutes late, only to then receive a 2 min check up.

So many others also barely bulk bill any more.

Well, this place bulk bills, keeps to their appointment times and makes appropriate diagnosies.

The practice is one of the best in Melbourne. Dr. Bashir is an amazing and one of the best doctors and we feel lucky to have him in our vicinity.

Dr Bashir Ahmed is such a kind and gentle man. I took my 2 years old to get checked and he was very gentle with her.

Bad experience with Dr Vijitha Satheesan, suggest to avoid her if possible.

Today I need an urgent oppointment and got no option but her.

She blamed us not doing a Covid test before seeing her, which I don't see this reminder anywhere at online booking or the clinic?

End of the appointment she insist to do a Covid test to my 8 yo daughter, she was very rough and poke the test stick into her nose very fast and very deep, my daughter feels so much pain and can't help to pushed the stick away and it dropped at floor. She got so upset and shouted at my daughter " I told you not to touch this part (of the stick)! ", as her test was ruinned and she think is my daughters fault.my daughter burst into tears and started crying, the doctor just stand there with the same upset look without a sorry. I got really angry and we went out straight away.

Now I saw other reviews and realized we are not the only one who had bad experience with her. And no wonder she is available immediately whilst other doctors has at least few days waiting list! We got no option today but will never see her again.

I saw Dr Bashir so far mainly for three problems; first severe pain in my left foot (unable to walk and sleep at night) and I was on painkillers for years. His advise was simple, still insisted that I need prescription please. Dr Basir prescribed the medicine happily which I never required after listening to him carefully. Both of my feet are so happy now, no pain no swelling. I even don’t remember that I had any such pain before.

My second problem was of my high BP which he advised me to change lifestyle and nothing to worry about so I very happy about that. Not on medicine!

My recent checkup was regarding onset of osteoarthritis in little finger of my right hand and I was so unhappy about it. His advise is so good that I am feeling better in 2 days now. My son is also a doctor but his speciality is different so he advised me for X-ray and treatment. This morning My son checked my finger and he was very happy seeing improvement in swelling and nods.

My sole purpose in writing this review is to convey my thanks to Dr Bashir and share with others online so that if they have similar problems they can also see him for a healthy advise and treatment.

I think the reception staff are absolutely wonderful, receptionist was attentive and showed concern for the unwell and elderly however Dr Vijitha Satheesan was terrible. From the first appointment I had felt she was unhelpful, showed little empathy or care towards my health concerns but simply a clip of the ticket for the day. Given it was my first experience I thought I’d give her the benefit of the doubt and reserve my judgement until the second time I saw her for follow up results, she was impatient and unclear when I asked her to clarify and when I further tried to explain subsequent symptoms she just played ignorance and was rude. Will definitely never see her again.

My wife and I have been in the care of Dr Bashir for many years. What a wonderful caring and highly competent doctor. Superb gentleman and a family she in the true sense. The front staff are brilliant and other facilities at the clinic are varied.

I have been suggested to this clinic by one of the family friend and been served well by experienced Dr. Bashir. Also, customer service has been exceptional on every visit.

Me and my son was with Dr Bashir for almost 3 years, a very experienced and tremendously caring doctor. Service at the front desk is also superb friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend friends to this particular clinic.

I was one of the very first of a few patients to visit the Dr Ahmed when the practice changed hands several years ago. Although I no longer live in the area, I have continued as a patient of Dr Ahmed and am delighted to see KGMC grow to become a busy and highly regarded clinic.
I have recommended KGMC to several of my family and friends.

Very good clinic with ample parking and competent doctors. Front desk is effective and staff is friendly and cooperative. Dr. Bashir is our family's 'go to' doctor and we never had any issues. The only element that could be improved is waiting time to get to your appointment (hence 4 stars). Good work KGMC!

The best doctors i have every gone to.the receptionist is always lovely every time im there.and the dr i get evertime has always been extremely lovely, knows whats wrong straight away, prescribes and gives the right care management.and makes you feel respected.would highly recommend this place even when they're busy its still worth the wait.
