They brought in a new rule recently - no returns on bed linen, blankets, quilts etc. So ridiculous. I have purchased manchester from them previously, and never had an issue getting a refund. Last week I purchased a coverlet and asked one of the ladies before paying "can I return this if I change my mind? ". She replied, "yes of course, just keep your receipt". I briefly took the coverlet out of the packaging to see if it suited my bed, then neatly folded it and put back in the packaging. Tried getting a refund today, and the lady said "Sorry but we can't do refunds on manchester for hygiene reasons". She also said there are signs in that section clearly saying these items can't be returned. I walked over there myself - there weren't signs but tiny stickers located under the bed sheets which said "these items can't be returned ". I then walked over to where the coverlets are, and no signs at all. So how was I to know this new rule? When all I looked at was the coverlet section. I can imagine so many people are being caught out with this new rule. That's $40 down the drain for me. Kmart really need to do a better job making it clear that manchester can't be returned. It's so unfair when this hasn't been the case in the past!

I love this place. Just don’t buy their face masks they make u break out. And the makeup shelves are always empty like damn. They sell really good stuff tho and the security lady really nice.

Newly opened Kmart in Highpoint shopping center near Apple store on the ground floor. Overall a good shopping experience, nice and tidy store. The staff was very helpful except for one indian lady who refused to help me bluntly as she doesn't work in that section. Most of the isles were fully stocked.

I left Kmart Highpoint extremely stressed.
Literally not one person to assist you on the floor. Walked around continuously looking for assistance.
Something that should have taken 10mins took 45 minutes plus to locate. Finally lined up at the check outs only self-serve available, which was chaos people everywhere. One person assisting people purchasing their shopping. Finally get through, only to find they have run out of shopping bag's. So disappointing. If this is the future of shopping what has the world coming to. My rating is 0 for Highpoint Kmart.
Please explain Kmart. No wonder people shop on line.

Where has customer service gone……down hill when it comes to shopping at Kmart. No staff members to help on the floor, they make you use the self checkout registers. Only one registers with a staff member on. And then they want to look at the receipt when you leave…… Bring back the registers with staff members on near the entry/exit and this will stop the staff members treating you like a thief every time you leave a Kmart store.

They never pick up their phones.
Called for my click & Collect which was someone else item inside with my name on the parcel. Tried & tried to call but no answer.
Poor customer service over the phone. Need to improve majorly on this area. (Not a rating on your store item just communication skills).

The red headed lady behind the service counter needs to be taught some customer service skills!
She snapped at the lady before me and then snapped at me!
I actually said “hi how are you? ” when I approached the counter with no reply and then she just snapped her requests at me.

First time in this store, made the mistake of entering the pay area from the wrong side, was accosted by a very aggressive staff member to leave as I was pushing in, in trying to defend myself that I had simply made a mistake and not purposefully "pushing in" she kept talking over the top of me still in a very aggressive tone, embarrassed and distressed in front of all to hear and see, I demanded to speak with her manager. I was left standing waiting at the counter as only one other couple were waiting for this same woman to serve them, and no one else besides myself also waiting for a cashier, she served them then walked away from the counter, when I asked her was she going to attend to me since no one else was waiting, she responded by "i'm not serving you because you pushed in". It would have been more appropriate to have said in the beginning, Excuse me ma'am, you've entered from the exit, could you please join the queque". I then was accosted by her "manager" also very aggressive and accusing me of "abusing" her staff and also abusing herself, when by then having been spoken to in such a manner, it was hard not to match the tone of voice, again trying to explain that I was not abusive and "excuse me, excuse me, can I just explain myself? " because this woman was also talking over the top of me and not giving me a chance to tell her that I had simply made a mistake not "pushing in" as she also was intent on telling me. By this time I was highly distressed and in tears, and asked for the store manager, who came to see what the problem was, can you imagine what was said behind my back? The second woman was intent on relaying that I was abusive, when it was the staff who were very rude. No apologies given for the state I been made to feel, felt like a criminal shoplifting when all it was I entered from the "exit" (which in all honesty I did not see) I'd been looking at the huge ring of lights displaying "pay here" - being made to feel so belittled, embarrassed and distressed, and to add insult to injury, stupid because apparently ALL stores enter the pay area from that way, she says. I beg to differ, Airport West my usual store, has entry from the opposite direction. When I pointed this out, it was then "not all stores are the same".
Shame on you K Mart, treating your customers in such a rude, belligerent manner, shame on you for not having some decent good manners and using the excuse of a customer "being abusive" when the tone of voice and accusation from staff is actually very abusive and loud enough to bring attention to the customer.
If I could give you a minus star, I would.

This kmart stock is very good. It never disappointed us whenever we went ther for shopping. Highly recommended.

If you want “fantastic” customer service be sure to head down to the service desk. You’ll be greeted, actually no you won’t you’ll be stared at like your an Inconvenience ruining someone’s day by a middle aged red headed woman with fake nails (unfortunately the employee wasn’t wearing a name tag otherwise the name and shame would’ve been my way to go as I feel other shoppers need the warning) who will simply wait until you tell her what you need done, will do the whole thing in silence and then straight out refuse to put through further items. She’s succeeded in making my grandmother cry and ruining someone’s day, congratulations and great job love, I know who I’d be giving employee of the month. She’s left me absolutely disgusted and embarrassed on behalf of Kmart for hiring someone so genuinely nasty.

Wouldn't accept the pjs I tried returning because they caused me to sweat too much in my sleep.

Don't buy the pjs from here if you are prone to a midnight sweat because they will burn a hole in your wallet as you will be stuck with a sweaty pj.

I like shopping at this store very early in the morning and for some reason I find the staffs are very helpful and very nice.
There is one staff I should mention in this review and I hope she need to change her attitude working in retail environment.

Anyway make it short, she served me twice, no smiling, no greeting, not even look at me, not even say thank you, all she said to me was. CARD. What she means is I need to put the card in the EFTPOS machine and put the pin in.
She gave me a feeling that l, she doesn't enjoying her job, her personal life very sad and not happy, honestly she shouldn't be there to give so much negative energy to other customers.
Every time I got serve by her, she ruins my day.
She definitely need to have some customers training again otherwise the store might affect the RATING SERVICES.

Kmart - every location is the same, so there isn't much to say. Unless a special event or an incident occurs. Anyway, I ordered bath salt online, and the Click & Collect order was only available for pickup the next day around midday. I wasn't sure if this was due to a backend processing delay or simply too many orders. Click and Collect should strive to complete orders within an hour. That's the whole point of ordering online: to skip the line and get your items faster. The collection went off without a hitch.

5 stars due to the service by Jannina (she usually works in the fitting rooms) so fantastic! She was on front entrance and attended to us as soon as we walked in. She was so helpful and very entertaining. She went to know end of trouble to help me find enverlopes (which was tricky as I was after specific ones) She offered suggestions on how I could make the ones work that they sold. What an asset to the team. Go Jannina!

No one answered the phone. But, as pointed out by other reviewers, it could be a staffing issue. If the issue is with staffing, I hope the management hires more staff than asking the existing staff to do more than they should.
And, if it’s otherwise, please answer the phone.

Good enough for your Kmart goods. Not as busy compared to other kmarts I noticed, however this one seems to be having a few stock issues still.

Most of the lights were off and it was obvious they wanted to go home. The girl that served us was happy and helpful and they did have what we were looking for but it was under the counter.
