The customer service at this store is out of this world! Courtney and, in particular, Joel the manager, went so far above and beyond customer service that I truly don't even have the words for it I was treated better and more was done to help me, than I would expect in a top end boutique, let alone a busy department store. Even if you live a way from these guys but want awesome customer service, this is the place to go!

SCAM! Not sure if it's just Melbourne Kmart's but nothing you pay for online is actually in-stock 3 kmarts now an all false advertising.

Self serve strategy is incredibly inefficient and creates a poor customer service. 7 items purchased today and needed a service assistant 3 times before I could progress.

Absolutely no staff serving at all. If I wanted an online experience I would have shopped online.

A pretty good range of stock and friendly staff. I think it's good they have a security guard near the entrance and they're always helpful, as are the other staff. I like going to the arts and paper craft section cos sometimes they have stock here that I can't locate at the Burwood One 24H store. The parking underneath is handy at times, as it's sheltered from rain, wind and heat. But there is also plenty of convenient parking in the open air. Be aware of the flea market held on Sunday mornings, as this vastly restricts availability of parking. BTW are you aware Kmart does price matching on identical products that are sold cheaper at other bricks & mortar stores? You can potentially save money if you locate the identical product and can prove its price with the product code and marketing content from the other b&m store in a catalogue or on their website. Kmart did this for me when I questioned their pricing and I ended up saving $20.

Probably the worst stocked Kmart in Victoria. They should have never removed Target. The nearest one is now 11kms away.

A recent purchase of some tea light candles almost ended in tragedy, my unit almost caught fire because of the defective candles (made especially for K Mart), K Mart has offered a refund for the tea light candles and has since withdrawn the products from their store, however they have obfuscated, procrastinated and otherwise made communication a nightmare, any chance of my damages being paid or my time for this drama being recognised is made impractical and I have given up. I wonder if some other fires may have been caused by the same goods and whether anyone else was hurt by their negligence. Warning to shoppers, their goods may be dangerous and in tested.

They never pick up the phone none of them do it really makes me angry I should be able to get an answer for a simple question over the phone.

Wanted to purchase a couple of newly released novels which were advertised as being at the store but none of them were there on the shelf when I made my way there. Wasn't overly happy!

The store was tidy, well laid out and well stocked. However I hope Kmart and Aldi management read this and do something about the elevator which takes people up to their stores. It is a disgrace and not only brings down the shopping precinct, but also seemingly exemplifies how little they think of their customers by leaving it in such a bad state.

Even before stock shortages this Kmart has always struggled to have stock - make sure you check if they do before you go if you’re looking for something specific.

It is not the biggest Kmart so it sometimes does have the same range of stock found in others.
Clean and neat. Decent amount of parking underneath.

Floor rugs, kitchen appliances, everything needed for the bathroom, lamps, terrific kids clothing most of it in breathable cotton, great choices in men's underwear and sox, toys and cook books, what doesn't this store have? I only had a problem with a kettle (the lid jammed and soon afterwards, the automatic "boil then switch off, " stopped working,) which they immediately offered to replace. I requested an upgrade to a better model and that was fine.
The underwear department needs better options for women - more style options in 95-100% Cotton.

I thought I would share this as the below supports my habit of doing nearly all of my shopping online. I get attention if I ask a question and product information tends to be accurate etc. I wanted to buy a USB cable last night and went to Kmart.
As I walked into the store I received a phone call and it was an overseas call so I did not want to hang up/call them back. I mentioned to them that I may disturb the call as I was in Kmart.
Whilst on the phone I walked around the store looking for the usb cable/electrical section as well as keeping an eye out for a staff member that could help, the place was empty except for this woman who was always in the vicinity with “Fletch stealth” (look up the Chevy Chase movie) every time I tried to get her attention she hid! So I began to think that the staff if more than this one woman existed must be playing a game of hide and seek. Oh well.
I left the store confident in my conviction that online is the way to go, After all I had been in there for a considerable amount of time without luck.
As I walked out the store a I was approached by a gentleman that had been shopping in the store with his two little girls and he was laughing, he continued to tell me that he could not find staff in the store to help him and once he finally tracked one down (his words follow) “I got this crazy old woman who looked like she was playing some game” he also continued to tell me that she could not wait to tell him that she was going to call the police because someone was in the store on the phone and walking around, I bet that is a rare occurrence in 2021! I ask these rhetorical questions, Should I expect that staff be attentive to customers? Should staff be playing “Fletch” hide and seek?
Having some experience with hiring and staff in large organization may I suggest to K Mart that they consider training and hiring staff that have customer skills as well as at least a reasonable ability to understand discretion.
Referring to the comment at the beginning of this review I am back to online shopping.

There's an old lady that stands at the front and discrimates people, if you're a poc she'll search your bag even if you carry your shopping in your hand with a receipt, its always that same lady doing that

Have been trying to call Camberwell all weekend as goods I received are broken. Out of 3 dinner sets, only 1 is intact.

Whether this is Store or courier related I don’t know but PLEASE pick up the bloody phone and talk to your customers

For one item, after one month astray I finally got so disappointed. They posted me a jar shattered into small pieces and I gave it back to the post driver. Instead of refunding, they told me return it back first. I already gave it back to the driver. I will never ever buy from Kmart. Ebay is much faster and cheaper and reliable.
