The girls at the customer service counter are so rude. They speak to each other and give some blunt replies. Terrible customer service.

I’ve been a local customer since the opening day. Today I had the worst experience ever that made me feel sick till now. I picked up my son from school and found him in tears as his pant was wet. I took him to the Kmart to buy a pair of pants to comfort him. He tried them and I took his wet one plus the tag to pay at the register. The fitting room lady ’s behavior was shocking. Oh yes everybody does the same and they don’t pay, I have to call and let them know and etc.
I was a frustrated mum who just wanted a bit of assistance. She could kindly explain the rule and could guide me to the register herself, which was only few steps away from where she was, instead of embarrassing me in front of my child. However, I was the only customer at that time.
I wanted to talk to the supervisor but the other staff on the door simply ignored me and said, we don’t have supervisor today.
Seriously Kmart? !

The entire Click and collect experience is bad. There is no signage when you enter. The social q system crashes and you need to try 1000 times before you can book a slot. The directions on the social q are incorrect.

Also they sent a survey link where I could have provided this feedback but even that does not work. Looks like KMart Altona is falling apart. I would stay away.

Busy, gift card was not scanning, kid didn't know how to manually enter and no one to help him. In the end just paid with debit card.

My family been coming here for years, shoe prices are amazing, customer service are good well trained but sometimes they need workers to walk around to help the customers to find a particular product

Best experience of my life. Didn't wanna leave the place. You havnt lived until you've been to kmart altona. Simply breathtaking.

Beautiful kmart. Well stocked things. My recent experience with kmart had been bad lately due to lack of goods in the shelves but no such problem in this store. All the shelves were packed. Got what I needed didn't went home empty handed.

This is K mart no need to explain. If you can't find some product in your local kmart store, you might find it in Altona K mart

Terrible experience. Where is the click & collect location? ! No directions in the email, no signs in the carpark. What is the point of click & collect. Go in store and the service desk attendant barely spoke just pushed the package at me and walked off. Get home and there are large click & collect stickers over my items that I can't get off. Very substandard, I will never be back.

Have not been to Kmart Altona for over 12 months. I do not like the new layout of their shops. I will need to go back sometime but l dont know when.

Great shopping experience, with good variety of product range on offer for all home conveniences or personal clothing needs from baby to granny.

Don't like the registers in the middle of the store

In the short time I've lived in the area I've had 3 trips to this store. I have been in many many stores all over the place and the staff here are absolute GOLD! Each visit I have caused quite some trouble for the poor staff at the checkouts. (Without fail no matter where i shop self service bagging area just yells at me i never get it right n really shouldn't be allowed alone with them. Plus major evoucher trouble. 2 separate visits they won't scan its all frankly a headache for the poor staff who have to help me 4563 times per visit.) I have been approached with nothing but kindness patience even apologies even though it was a clear i was the malfunction. It has taken a team at one point to fix n sort me out. I thank you lovely kind humans for who you are and for being a shining light for my children to witness. You just don't know some times just how much it can mean. My 4 children and i have had a very unstable and scary life changing mind altering kind of time. You wouldn't know it but roughly 20 mins before i was served and helped so greatly last night i had to help my 9 year old who was with me through a very out of the blue panic and anxiety attack. Just getting out of the house can be too much for any of us at any given day its just part of the chronic PTSD and anxiety does but without too much more of our mess ill get to the point. My son suffering a sudden attack obviously as his mum rattles me to the core n i have to do all i can to mask that I'm worried or scared or don't know what to do and deep down wish i had an adult help me adult at that point. My world spins n i instinctively go into disconnect n disassociation mode n im on auto pilot. Your kindness in how you treated me as a customer made a huge difference in my world. Inside i feel so stupid useless can't ever just easily get things done feel like a burden just loads of negative self talk. If you had of been like any staff I've seen before n got snappy or moaned n groaned rolled your eyes or let it be obvious i was a pain in your side or both sides. I wouldn't have been able to see out the transaction. I'd have got my kids close n signalled i need to forget about the things we wanted ad abort mission n I would have had to leave. I have been able to shop n leave feeling warm n fuzzy inside i have nice things in my new house n will slowly add to it as we are starting again from scratch. I don't feel i can't come back i feel excited to return. My son had a bunch of gifts to open for his birthday. You aught to know you make a big difference just from your amazing customer service skills. I can not thank you all enough? ‍️?

Bit by bit. I will turn thus house into our home n fill it with gorgeous things we need. A photo shopping listnis never lost. BOOOOOOKS BOOOKS I LOVE THE BOOKS

Good COVID-19 protocols. Wide aisles. Store looks clean. Clothing stock seems plentiful. Homewares stock quite depleted. Very reasonable prices.

Nice and tidy store. Good variety too. I like how everything is well spaced out instead of crammed together. Plenty of room to push a trolley or pram through the racks or aisles.

The staff were friendly and very helpful.

I went to this store yesterday to buy a heater asked the lady at the door for directions and she was very very rude went there today went to the register and oh no the same grumpy woman served me no smile no hello no nothing after I said good afternoon to her for God’s sake if she don’t want to work there give the job away not very good customer service but I hope one day that grumpy old woman behind the register can crack a smile: (

Kmart has really improved its clothing. Very impressed with female fashion this year.
Dont like self check out, only one person actually at check out. No staff on floor to assist (sign of the times)

A wellstocked Kmart that got everything one wants for their home. I am not a big fan though of their payment section being at the centre of the store.

Went to the store to purchase an air fryer. The only two left of the type l wanted were on the shelf unboxed. There was no one present to assist me so l approached a young girl working in another department. She ascertained there were no other boxed fryers available so l asked if l could purchase one of the unboxed units. She said l could not but could not tell me why. I left resolved to buying a fryer elsewhere. The issue here was a complete lack of anywone trained enough to help me.
