Klinger Shoe Repairs reviews
9Paid a lot to get my shoes repaired. The new soul started to peel off after a couple of months. Extremely disappointed, will not return.
Results werent worth the cost. Quoted less on drop off, charged more on pick up. + He only repaired one side of the shoe!? Other side still detached. Will not be a returning customer.
Went here as needed to re glue the heel on a pair of boots. Cobbler completely destroyed the back of the boot and refused to take ownership of their sloppy job. Was charged full price for this job, highly recommend using an alternate cobbler.
Great place, awesome service, the lady at the front is so nice. Fixed my shoes urgently while I sat there in my socks:)
Charge extremely high prices and informed me of a lower price initially when dropping the shoes off. The collection price was Significantly higher and the owner had little consideration when I questioned the price. The results weren't worth the cost spent.
This place is the best. My partner ripped his all-time favourite shirt that he's had for years all the way across and I was sure there was no way to fix it. Even the lady at Klinger said it "might be difficult. " Well, she worked absolute magic - the shirt looks like new and I honestly have no idea how she did it. I come here for every single repair - I would trust them with anything - and the prices are so reasonable. Highly recommended!
I love this place. I had a job interview and wore shoes I hadn't worn for a while.the tips/nubs of the heel fell off within half an hour of being in the city and I was basically walking (very noisily) on 2 metal nail heads. I rushed into Klingers, frantic, knowing that the job interview place had a stone foyer and I would look like a moron/tight/clueless if I had the "Click Clack" of shoe heels hitting the floor during the interview. The lovely gentleman saw how stressed I was, grabbed the shoes and asked me to take a seat. 4 minutes later I had 2 new heel nubs and it only cost $17! Amazing. Thanks so much Klingers - I tell EVERYONE about how great you are.
Sorry to say that I took a few heels to this store to get replaced and unfortunately they have all lasted only 1-2 wears; that's also after they tell me they can only take cash ($140 odd dollars worth) because the machine is not working; I've had this comment from shop owners before and it's a bit of an IT 'problem' - you need to switch it off, turn it back on and it always works again. This behaviour is bad news for small business owners, giving me a feeling of distrust; please don't give big corporate another reason to thrive!
