Kitchen Warehouse Moorabbin

Lovely staff & very friendly. Updated my account as well so I got more deals/vouchers without having to ask after forgetting the other night I was struggling to update my account to get those deals enabled. Our go to store for kitchen items.

Growing up in an Italian family, mum always had her good ancient Bialetti Moka Express stovetop pot on the brew. There was no pod coffee machine or instant coffee in our house! So having grown up and now in our own 'coffee drinking home', we thought it was time to give instant coffee the flick and graduate up to stovetop brews like mum and dad used to have in the old days when I was a kid. So we went out hunting for a Bialetti Moka Pot and started at TK Maxx in Moorabbin before heading into DFO where we found a number of kitchenware type stores including Matchbox, Corelle Brands and Form Home. Out of luck there we then went and had lunch at The Fish House near Aldi and after lunch wondered into Kitchen Warehouse.

Simply fantastic! This shop has a BIG and amazing range of all those things you need in your kitchen and at reasonable prices, and unlike many similar stores, this store is well laid out with plenty of isle space to move around in and you don't at all feel claustrophobic. As well as lots of hot deals, it has many different great gift ideas. It's a fantastic shop to browse through and there were many doing just this when we were there. We purchased a number of items and while browsing, we found just what we were looking for and have been enjoying rich, authentic Italian style coffee ever since)

We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. There's also plenty of off-street parking. We were really impressed and took lots of photos to show our family and friends. Kitchen Warehouse is a must visit.

Would not go back after the service me and my mum were given. Asked a staff member about cutting boards, generic answer spat at me before she strode off. When I was at the counter paying, a product which was labeled at 1/4 the price was charged at full. Didn't question it, but staff didn't bother to check either. I just got my other items and left the store, might as well have ordered online or gone to another kitchen warehouse, don't need a smile but at least don't make me feel like a hassle for wanting to be a customer.

Very poor customer service. Staff seem to actively avoid customers. Staff have poor basic knowledge of kitchen utensils and make no effort to engage. When shown availability of product in store through website, staff member said she couldn't find product on shelf and wandered away. Will not return.

I was so disappointed on visiting recently to discover they've deleted most of their non-home brands. The range is much smaller now, and a simple thing like the tumblers they used to have are no longer to be found. I used to go there specially but I won't anymore, sadly.

Best customer experience. I was most impressed! Its so nice to go somewhere and have knowlegeable staff about their products. I wish i knew about this place earlier. There is a wide range of products and prices to choose from. Thanks Fiona for the assistance.i just couldnt get over yr knowledge and love for job. You had so much patience for me. I will be back!

I will never go to this store again. Very unfriendly staff. I felt as though I was a hassle. I was going to buy lots of things maybe spend a couple of hundred dollars but due to the service I walked straight out.

Just had the most amazing experience at the Moorabbin store. As soon as I got in the car I had to review. The gentleman that served us was nothing short of amazing. By far the best customer service, knowledgeable and expertise I have ever experienced. Thank you for your help and wisdom. Sincerely appreciate it.

Event venue, food was good, music too, but it was an excitable group and noise levels rose so it became hard to hear.

Went in Thurs to purchase Victorinox knife. I told mature older gentleman what I wanted (mentioned that they did have in stock, as I checked on their website). He said they were in glass cabinets and acted like I interrupted him and it was a huge inconvenience for him to go and open it.
He said they only had one left which was the display item. I was reluctant, as I wasn't sure how many customers had handled and touched the knife, etc. When I mentioned that to him, he said, it's OK, wouldn't be a problem.
After I paid for it, I looked at handle and yes, sure enough there was marks and one scratch on it.
I went back to counter and younger gentleman served me and I told him to bring me another one if they had one. It was a birthday present and needed to be perfect. He went and pulled one at of a drawer! I was told earlier that there was one more left in the display cabinet! When we mentioned that to them about previous conversation with older gentleman, they were in denial.
Weeks before that, we asked the same older gentleman where we could find baking mats. He pointed to where they were without even acknowledging us. There was only a couple of styles available.
We went back a week later and noticed towards the back of the store there were lots more varieties of baking mats.
Does he not know his stock and even if he doesn't, can't he check? Is it that difficult?
They do not care for paying customers.
That was a disgrace of a service and they will not have the pleasure of having my business ever again. I do NOT recommend.

Walked in for the first time, really looking forward to getting some bar ware. A particular range was on display but couldn’t be seen anywhere on the shelf - not one of four items. I said excuse me to the staff member in which he was pretty much not at all happy to see me interrupt him. He said they had low stock of one item but thought it’d be out the back but then said he actually doubts it. Jumps on the computer and you just get the vibe it’s not going to be available. He then asks his colleague who also didn’t seem happy to want to serve anyone to which he says nope all gone to the worker and said we’re waiting on that container and then we will have loads of them. It was like I didn’t exist, they both walked off left me there not saying a word. I put down my goods and walked out and will shop else where. I suggest not having a full range of something on display when it isn’t able to be purchased. Plus, it will stop your staff being asked questions and inconveniencing them.

The is a great store!
I love cooking and the selection here is endless, so many nice things to choose from! I'll definitely keep coming back here for all things baking and cooking.
The staff was really nice and especially knowledgeable. When I checked out, I bought a pan and the employee (sadly I forgot his name) explained some care instructions to me on how to keep the pan in a good state for longer. Never had other kitchen stores explain anything to me so I really appreciated this, I definitely learnt something new!

Outstanding service from Fiona today, I came in with a self inflicted problem with an appliance i purchased recently and I was provided with an excellent solution! Couldn't be happier with the result and proceeded to buy several more items from their excellent range. Highly recommend!

Good prices and range but the online shop is terrible. Click and collect should be trade marked as click and refund.
On same items you have to call customer support (which will call the store) to check for stock in case of click and collect.
The cherry on top was when customer supported contacted me to refund order X but cancelled order Y.
For an online shop I've spent much more time on the phone with customer support than I ever wanted.
They are also impolite, not really listening or supportive!

Store carries high quality merchandise. I love to go wander and always find something that I need! Good service.

Web page said they had stock. 40 minute drive, oh no we don't have that. Don't believe web page!

We went into this store for the boxing Day sales. We were helped by Lachlan. He was really patient, very helpful and best of all, super enthusiastic and knowledgeable. We learnt a lot that we didn't realise we needed to learn (hopefully our frying pans will last a lot longer now!). Awesome, thank you. Will be back.
