Kingston Heath Reserve reviews
46This is quite a large park, with the RSL next door and DFO across the road. So if you need to take a picnic to enjoy or book a table at the RSL for after your visit, very worthwhile.
This is such a beautiful park. It's a simple pedestrian walk across the road from DFO, and neighbouring the Cheltenham/Moorabin RSL. "Friendly park" is an appropriate name for this place. It's a reserve for diverse people. There is a playground for kids with a drinking tap, picnic tables, and toilets nearby. There are walking/running trails, a footy oval, soccer pitch, an open/public tennis court, a basketball ring and more. The scenery is great, especially on a sunny day.
One of the best cricket grounds i have played at.was playing the winter league and after some rain.the turf surprisingly wasn't too damp and the wicket held its composure for the duration of the match. Lot of activities like hockey and baseball were going on
A great place to experience nature and semi rural. A lovely walk from magpie car park over to a billabong walk with lovely ponds. From there down a fenced of area that makes you feel as if you are walking amongst farm paddocks. From there into the wetlands where you can see water birds nesting and meandering on the water surface. Then onto a walk over, man made bridges where nature is natural an aesthetic until you come to a pine lined track leading you back to the picnic area. A great spot for families with a very good play ground which would entertain kids for the day. Expansive picnic areas with some under cover and enough room to kick a foot ball and perhaps cricket without disturbing other visitors to the park. Love this park for my 5km circuit walk.
Needs an upgrade but a lovely park to roam with the dog on lead or take the kids to play on the play equipment.
Excellent park, facilities are very good, well maintained and others you meet are friendly and helpful nice park with BBQ facilities
Lovely place big sport soccer grounds and right across the road is a DFO a really good one great place
Good sized park with play area for children and also toilets nearby. Good place for walking your dog as large area is off lead. Free parking too.
My favourite local reserve perfect for taking my reactive dog on long walks where she has plenty of space to sniff around. So nice for taking pictures too:)
Nice park to visit great playground for kids several ovals toilet block seating areas available under shade quite popular on weekends and across the rd from DFO Moorabbin. I go have a good walk there or go sit there with lunch/takeaway dinner sometimes. Heaps of parking.
Very big park with many fun features for kids to play and explore. Only downside is the filth on the ground amongst the land mines of dogggie poo. Chewing gum littered randomly just to add grip to your shoes. Maccas rubbish under the slides and features that are literally five steps from the bin. Hope users would leave the place clean like how they'd found it when they got there. Respecting the environment and surroundings is respecting themselves and for other users.
Lovely spot. Park cricket, kids in playgrounds and family picnics. People back to living a life.
Lovely park. A sizable playground kids, great place for family gathering, quite a few BBQ stove. Also an oval for a kick. Wish there are more covered table. Large car park as well.
This place is much bigger than I anticipated. Following the path up to the botanic gardens is a real treat.
Nice place for a walk along the paths. Only downside for me is dog poo left behind by lazy owners and dogs off leash.
Great place to go for a ride/run and tske the kids to run free! Massive playground and plenty of room to have a picnic and kick the footy, away from all the main road chaos too
Had the worst, most unprofessional experience at the RSL Cheltenham ever
Rude, misinformation, told to leave by 1 pm was told due to Covid rules. This proved to be untrue. I am a member of RSL Noble Park. Less than an hour to rush dinner down. Told had to be out by 1 pm. Noted everyone was being quietly reminded to leave ASAP. Refused Member discount on drinks. Attitude appealing.
Never Again. 2 years ago I was a Member of Cheltenham RSL. Moved to Nobel Park.
Am an 83 year old disabled Member for over 7 years. Appalling.
Nice facilities. Looking forward to the new field Courtesy of Thomas Green Landscape Construction.
Good spot for the family but stay away if you have kids and it's raining. The tracks to the playground can get messy
Beautiful reserve including a dog park on and off leash with an obstacle course for the furbabies.
Sporting facilities for Baseball Hockey Soccer Tennis and fields for exercise and training courses.
Lovely walking tracks and plenty of beautiful birds.
