Kings of Comedy

A really mixed experience. We went as we were given a voucher ; it seems most people were in the same boat, so it boggles the mind they were ill prepared for vouchers. The comedy was initially great but the main act was not good, but moreover offensive: disparaging of anyone not him. Whilst not explicitly the fault of the venue, they condone the same message by hosting. Not good enough and not fair to the other comedians.

Expecting no more then an opportunity to perform 5 minutes of comedy to the best of my ability, i instead was met with a genuinely friendly atmosphere, a sense of comradery amongst the comedians, and a very definite feeling of real excitement permeating from the audience. All of which, along with Simon Hughe's MCing helped to lift all the performances, made me feel glad to be there and wish to come back again and again.

So much fun. It's aweosme that up and coming comedians get to show their skills to new people. Had a ball and can't wait to go again
