King's Hot Bread And Bakery reviews
18Best bakery in town by far. Cheap and good quality. Profiteroles are great, and a sausage roll and sauce is literally $3.30, how good!
Very fresh good bread and value for money. Personally I like the caramel slice and jam donuts. Yum.
I reckon, the nicest pastie in the region.
Their Vietnamese, (Bahn Mi?), is nice, spicy, and I can't get enough.
Can’t believe after so many trips to Ballarat, just discovered the best Profiteroles! Sooo good! Even the vanilla slice! Stopping by again to bring some back to Melbourne
Good spot in the Ballarat CBD to get both sweet and savoury items. In my case I needed to bring a plate of finger food to an event.
Unique speciality bakery. Their vanilla slices are really good. Ideal place for bread rolls, jam doughnuts and pies. Check it out, you'll become a regular.
Really great, family run business with amazing baked goods. The profiteroles are piped thoroughly with deliciously sweetened whipped cream and the choux pastry is incredibly. Also, they have amazing bargains and combo deals even though the prices are already very reasonable. Highly recommend.
This is the best Vietnamese style bakery in Ballarat. Try their pies, pork rolls, and the best profiteroles. Buy a dozen to share with friends.
After their recent price increases to everything they're now too expensive. I've shopped here for several years now and will no longer return. The price increases were quite dramatic and it's no longer considered a good choice. Also the pies are very average and often cold.
6 of us stumbled on this little bakery, very understated exterior but with 2 tables outside. But.wow, the staff were friendly the pasties, pies, sausage rolls, vanilla slices (out of this world) and profiteroles were so delicious extras were bought for after tea treats. So happy we stumbled onto this bakery. Maybe clean the outside sign hanging from the roof and a bin for rubbish from the council. The staff were happy to take our finished paper bags etc.which gave them another tick. A very busy bakery, which is always a good sign
Long live the king of French Vanilla slice! Yeah bought a tray of 4, and only 2 of them made it out of Ballarat alive. Somebody had icing sugar spilt all over his car and down the front of him, I wonder who that was? Seriously good food overall and their prices are great.
Vanilla slice was amazing! Had a sausage roll which was also good, wife had a pie, she said was amazing! She also ordered custard tart which she thought was nice too! We are not locals but stopped here by chance and can't recommend it enough!
Busy bakery in Ballarat. We were craving Sausage rolls and needed a fix so we headed here. The sausage rolls and pie were ok, I guess like your typical small bakery sausage rolls but nothing special. The vanilla slice was good.
Screw the other bakeries around. Nix traditionalism and get one of the best green curry pies and especially best profiteroles you'll ever have at an extremely reasonable price. The latter was almost worth the trip on its own.
One of the best bakeries around! Lovely fresh rolls, pies, cakes and slices made fresh daily. The pork salad rolls are THE best ever!
This great shop is a regular stop of my office for morning tea runs. Fantastic value for money and the baked goods are delicious.
Wow! Food here is amazing! Best Poe I have ever had in my life!
Prices are very fair!
Staff are very polite.
And a wide selection of beverages.
Keep up the good work Kings Bakery!
