KingKids Early Learning Centre and Kindergarten - Rowville reviews
23 Fast forward 4 years later, I tried enrolling my youngest who just turned 3 to childcare. Initially, they accepted the enrolment and offered her a 2 day place, then 3 days to finally refused to accept her, saying my child has high needs, requiring one on one because she can open the doors, getting upset in the room and wouldn't let staff to touch her which are all developmentally appropriate for a child especially when a child is making a big transition from being home for 2.5 years to childcare. My child was in childcare when she was 6 months till 12 months old and thrived. I kept her home during COVID lockdowns because children of only essential workers were allowed to attend childcare.
The room leader basically said to keep my child home because she will struggle, she further backed her recommendation by saying, she is a mother too and she understand and that my child will struggle. Isn't it the childcare's responsibility to help child transition and create a bond? Ofcourse, a child will respond in withdrawal with strangers she just met, in an 2 hour orientation. My child is intelligent and curious, my child just turned 3 but she knows 1-100, A-Z, shapes, colours, days of the weeks, months of the year, nursery rhymes and whatnot. She loves positive reinforcement and thrive on positive learning. They basically want easy children so they don't have to do hard work. I am a qualified educator who has worked as a room leader and assistant director until I left to become a fulltime carer of my 4 years old non verbal child who was also refused to be accepted by the centre. I am a student Psychologist in my second year, every child is different, you just have to work around them, accepting as they are. Just because a child is curious and hyper active, you just can't say they have "special needs" and we cannot do anything until a diagnosis. Give children a chance to grow, process emotions and create a personality before labelling them? When I was doing my student placement here, the staff used to tell me, take initiative, I was new and scared because the previous centre did not want to talk to their children or be with them alone. Maybe take your own advise and take initiative
Good to know their Inclusion Policy is just paper and they don't really care of a child's development, learning or celebrate each child's individuality, they want children who will listen on command without any extra work.
I have experienced 3 centres before KingKids. One where my oldest was afraid to go; one where I put my youngest after moving from Rowville (horrible experience) ; and one where I did my placement where I was humiliated and my centre had to pull me out.
My little one went here when I was living in Rowville and doing my placement at this centre. The staff is kind and very accomodating. If I ever come back to Rowville to live, KingKids is where my daughter is going. KingKids is the only centre I would prefer.
What a relief it was to find an ELC in Rowville with the skillset to cater for our kids. The staff are really experienced backed by a professional management team. Keep up the great work:)

I'm a nurse and a midwife and i completed a 2 day placement with this childcare centre, in further studies of childhood development.
This centre was clean, respectful and full of joy. The children were loved and looked after exceptionally well, and the management team so dedicated in looking after their staff and children.
Thanks for a great experience KingKids, i'll definitely be recommending this centre to my family and friends, what a hidden gem!
I visited this place with my kids, No doubt center is beautiful but unfortunately director behaviour was disappointed me, need to be professional.
Thanks
Stimulating rooms and outdoor areas, the staff are very friendly and warm, orientation and settling in was supportive resulting in a happy environment for the little one. The education is fun and age appropriate resulting in the alphabet and counting being attempted in as little as two weeks. Very impressed, would highly recommend.
My 2 children love going to KingKids Rowville, the staff are awesome - special call out to the 2 original staff that approached me at their Stud Park Stall - Kimmy & Yana - we love you. And then at the child care - Julianne, Yetta, Krish, Chris, 2IC Jordan - too many to mention! Thank you all for looking after my children so well and getting them to actually eat healthy food! ;) xx

Amazing space for children to flourish in. Extremely caring & nurturing staff, I wouldn’t send my children anywhere else.
I love this Centre for two reasons. Firstly, I don't have to listen to my whining kids all day long, and secondly, and most importantly, they provide special / loving care to my beautiful kids.
KingKids is a fantastic childcare centre. Our daughter loves being there and the staff are always so loving, warm and accommodating. We feel so comfortable leaving our daughter in their care. Happily recommend this place
An amazing centre. Both indoor and outdoor areas are set up for a variety of structured play as well as exploration. I really love all the textures and natural themes.
The staff are really engaged both with myself and more importantly the children.
