Always the freshest, I’ve been a customer for years now (at least once, sometimes twice a week). Highly recommend their marinara mix. Friendly staff and quality produce consistently!

Bought oysters on Christmas eve. It was prepackaged and when I opened it at home, it was rock frozen. So disappointed. Don’t come here.

The owners of this place are pretty rude. I couldn't believe how I was treated. Won't be going back. I was given the wrong information over the phone. You never apologised, just blamed your staff member for giving the wrong information. You did not try to make it right when you could see I was upset. You should probably do some customer service training. You can give 'advice' without being rude, but you chose to be rude. This review is a true account of my experience.

Kingfisher Seafood has the most amazing seafood. It is always so fresh and the most tastiest seafood ever. I wouldn’t shop anywhere else. I've been going to Kingfisher for well over 15 years and they have never dropped the ball. Craig and his crew run a tight ship and select only the freshest & finest product from their trusted wholesalers. They'll happily clean your fish for a few kind frosties in return, they've done mine plenty of times. Keep up the good work.

Was laughed at when I asked if they clean and prepare fish I caught myself. Not an unusual thing as the fish monger near Coles in Camberwell was happy to do it. The guy who laughed said, out loud in front of other customers ‘what kind of fisherman are you? ’ Well, a new one. And not someone confident to gut and fillet my fish. A simple ‘no, sorry’ would have sufficed. I was a regular customer and bitterly disappointed with how I was humiliated.

I came in with a plan to make garlic prawn scampi and no knowledge of seafood, they were super kind and helpful and helped me correct my mistake when I bought the wrong kind of prawns. And they were great quality! Highly recommend.

I love this shop. Always great service, a family run business and great quality produce. Always remember my name when I come in and make me feel so welcome.

If you haven't already try their marinara mix, marinated salmon and prawns. The best seafood I've ever cooked.

Everything I bought today are absolutely fresh, especially oysters and sashimi grade salmon.

The guy was so funny, when I asked if oysters were fresh to eat raw, as it was the first time buying from them, he picked up one and ate it straight away to show me how fresh it was! And yes, very fresh, bought 2 dozens first, tried both Tassie ones and Coffin bay ones, personally like tassie ones better, then sent my hub back bought another 2 dozens. Price is very reasonable, $24.99 a dozen.

Sashimi grade salmon is such a joy to have, more fresh than sushi store, used to buy big platter from Burke road Suzuran, the same money, you could get a lot more Salmon from here.

Also tried flathead fish, mussels, scallops, super yummy, made my day!

Love this fishmonger! They have all sorts of fish you can't find in the supermarkets, all wild caught, all very fresh. They answered all my cooking and taste questions before purchase. Highly recommend.

I have been meaning to leave a review to my favourite merchant in Camberwell market for quite a while now, so I figured I'd write a proper one!:)
If you are looking for fresh quality seafood and a great variety of produce don't look any further! This fishmonger has the best fish in town! My partner and I have been shopping there for the last couple years and never been disappointed!
We are very lucky to have them down the road (within our 5km radius!) because we just would not buy fish from anywhere else!
The cherry on the cake? Their awesome staff always welcomes you with a big smile on their face, yes even with their super cool shark masks on! Professional, caring, friendly, funny, and the list goes on and on to decribe Pauline and her team.
