Food is nice, pity they don’t have enough staffs to help out, only one guy doing everything. Love to go back.

Cute little cafe, food was really good and they made something not on the menu for my son. My kids really liked the fish shumai which was a little different, we even bought some frozen ones home. Will definitely be back.

Discovered this hidden HK style cafe and I'm not disappointed! Casual and fuss-free meals await. The tomato and cheese baked rice with pork chop is flavourful and filling, and the braised beef soup boasts punchy and bold flavours. Love that the egg waffle comes with condensed milk!

Kin & Gin HK Cafe is a very cute themed cafe in the neighborhood, the boss and the barista are friendly. Their food was decent, they do serve Hong Kong normal dishes during dinner time from now. Customers may visit at dinner time as well if missed the tea time or breakfast!

The restaurant is Kids friendly, they have a little corner with anime large soft toy (sitting at the table eating, i believe kids will love it like they are accompanied by the anime in real world), definitely kids will be entertained with their anime decorations and their collections.

Cute place and nice vibes, however the food was mediocre.

Do not get the ramen - soup tastes like instant noodle flavouring. The cutlet was good.

Would echo other reviews that they should focus on a smaller menu.

Well if I can see this notice in the photo I posted here before I won’t bring anyone including myself in to try and support HK cafe owned by people from HK. This notice means you need to wait long for food after ordering, and they don’t accept any bad feedback on food or price of their food if you are not happy with their food/price, which is kind of rejecting ppl willing to give any comments for improvement.
I don’t know how ppl have more stars of rating here, maybe they had the good food which didn’t happen to us in a group of 9, but Please! People giving feedback especially bad ones are hoping you can improve and so they can try again.
It’s very disappointing that the beef brisket noodles only got few tiny slices (3 from my memory, smaller than the Japanese ramen) of beef brisket with small portion of noodles, together with the water like soup without much taste, it’s just charging way too much. I feel I was eating a noodles which was from left over with added boil water.
Other dishes were below average with the price tags, totally not worth it.
Service is friendly apart from the notice, excluding the waiting time of over 40 mins.

I discovered the secret recently from one of these cha chaan teng.
Beef Brisket Curry (Hong Kong style), brisket is so tender and the sauce is fragrant and very tasty.

Ordered a serve of ramen on a Sunday afternoon. It takes 45 mins.long wait. There were 13-14 customers in the restaurant during that time. Food quality is below average and a bit cosy ($17.8) I do expect better ramen for this price.

Very Hong Kong style food with reasonable price. The beef brisket is soft and juicy. The fried noodle is not too oily. Will try the breakfast next time.

We ordered a ramen, fishball, wonton noodles, and takoyaki, and waited for literally 1 hour for our order to come one by one. There were around 8 customers before we arrived. Lots of dishes on the menu were unavailable due to a busy morning, staff explained. A bit pricy for the quality and the portion they have to offer and the service speed. I hope this is just an exceptional case, not sure if i could regain the confidence to give this place a second try.

Home cook! This place recently has some changes according to owner. Before it is like a Japanese and HK food but now it is a fusion Asian restaurant. Friendly owner and family run this business and the food gets a bit served with delay but taste is like homecook food. Interesting interior and exterior design and lots of lego and dolls make people attractive to visit.

It is a cozy cafe with welcoming environment. The dishes are extraordinarily mouth-watering.

Authentic Hong Kong local hawker style food.

Little hidden gem tucked away from the busy streets. Think homely Japanese fusion food with a trendy take, the store decorated with one piece figurines and soft toys against the green walls giving it a Taiwanese, Japanese vibe. Down to earth and welcoming owners. Great place to hang out without feeling the need to rush.

We had the Japanese pancakes, onigiri burger, oyako don, omurice with unagi, ice latte, latte and black sesame latte.

Drinks 4/5 - Good size, cute latte art, heart shaped ice, black sesame latte was great.
Food 3.5/5 - Homely yet enjoyable
Atmosphere 4/5 - Casual and relaxed

This is one of those places that is a diamond in the rough locally, it's only through the unfortunate location that it does not get the attention it deserves. I live close to this place and they make amazing sandos and overall the vibe is friendly, the food is home cooked but not used as an excuse to serve a cheap meal. I really recommend this place.

Homely vibe. But the food is very average. I would suggest keeping the menu simpler and focusing on doing a few dishes well.

Just loving the vibes here. What could be better than enjoying Japanese fusion brunch with family and friends under the summer breeze in such a lovely cafe.

Coffee is delicious, the creamy milk chocolate flavour tastes the best for latte or cappuccino.

The black sesame latte and green tea latte are worth trying too. Since the taste is pretty strong, will need to add more sugar.

Nice place. Worth to visit. Reasonable price and friendly customer service. Long operation time (until midnight) but not enough indoor seat in the restaurant.

Great vibes at this cafe and the staff are really pleasant - reminds me a lot of the relaxed feeling of travelling in south-east Asia but the pleasure of chilling in a nice cafe!

It’s hard to open a new restaurant during covid. A bit disappointed. Home-cooking quality. Overheard that they are inventing new menu everyday. I hope they can spend more time focusing on the current menu and improve the food quality first.

Such a sweet and uplifting little restaurant, the price 100 percent matches the service and quality of food! Thank you so much
