Kimasu

I ordered takeaway here on Tuesday 30/01 at around 8: 15pm.
I came in and was met with uncomfortable stares. I say hello and ask if I can still order, and the server tells me they can only do takeaway passive-aggressively. She had not shown me the menu either.
At this point, I’d rather be told no!
"No, sorry. We’ve closed up the kitchen for the day” would have sufficed.
Instead, my partner and I got attitude from the server and dirty, uncomfortable stares from the rest of the staff.
When given my order, the server also passive-aggressively hands my food and does a side-eye, just completely letting me know that I was not welcomed there…

I get that it can be annoying when a customer comes in close to closing time and you just want to close up early and leave early. But where is the human decency?
I truthfully thought it meant that you stop taking orders at 8: 30, and then that’s when you start closing up.

I originally didn’t want to post this review but felt that some behaviour needed to be corrected.
The food was good, but the service really left a bad taste in my mouth.

Super Japanese fusion restaurant. The food is very good, cooked with precision. Always meets the same standard.
The atmosphere is nice, the vibe is cool. The staff and the waitresses are always super friendly and sweet.

Chicken kitsu and salmon sashimi were was ok, but we felt the accompanying salad was dry and lacked flavour.
Customer service was terrible. We walked into an empty restaurant and knew what we wanted to order, but at the register we were told to sit down and use online QR code system. This may have been a reasonable system during the height of covid and restaurant restrictions, but now it's laziness and self serving on the hospitalit behalf.
We had to get up and ask questions on 3 occasions and I finally said this was terrible service and only then did she offer to place the order, but we were almost done.waiting for internet buffering to stop.
Later I approached the register to ask about dessert, I said now I think I read on your window that you get 2 free toppings with bingsu is that right? - she looked confused so I said I'd go outside to read the poster again. I came back and said yes that's right 2 toppings on bingsu. Oh the machine's not working she said Why let me go out again? Not bad for a shop that only has a couple of dessert choices.
I can get sashimi and poke bowls elsewhere.

We ordered some catering boxes for the morning of our wedding. Delivery was on time and the food was delicious and filling. Communication was also fast and easy. Thank you Kimasu!

The place is packed with people eating in or takeaway! Poke Bowl no. 1 product of the place. Food is excellent!

Do not order Kimasu late at night! Usually, the food is good but tonight was different. My usual order is Chicken Katsu Curry, 9/10 times it’s great but my experience tonight was dreadful. The rice was hard and curry was cold, sloppy even… sadly the curry wasn’t the only sloppy thing I got tonight, the last thing I want is being on the toilet thinking about ending it all on the spot… Hopefully staff and kitchen workers don’t slouch off late at night and put in the same effort of work as they do in the daytime.

Just had the Hawaiian poke bowl with salmon and what I received was a bowl of rice with some diced salmon pieces, red onion and soy sauce. Where is the rest of the bowl for close to $20?

Such a ripped off to ask to pay additional $$ for extra sides and protein, then get little to none of what you've paid for.

Last Sunday we went to Kimasu at @westsprings_central for lunch and we could not be happier about our visit?

This is an Asian fusion restaurant specialised in Japanese panko and they are famous for their incredible bowls, sandos, fries, boba, bingsu, waffles.everything they have is really worth a try

My favourite part of our lunch was trying their katsu curry loaded fries and the hot tip here is to order the curry on the side so you can dip your fries - and your sandos - in them, just try this out and thank us later

Love this place! Food is always consistent when it comes to quality and quantity so we are never disappointed. So glad they have extended their opening hours:)

One Word. Delicious! I would highly recommend Kimasu. The Staff are so friendly and the food is amazing! The yummy Chicken sliders and Prawn Tempura are to die for! Everything was fresh and delicious!
We will be back! Five from me and my family!

Customer service was okay. Tables were dirty when we sat. Had to change to another table that was also quite dirty. Food was alright, but not the best. Portion is okay as well for price. Definitely needs more variety of food. Menu needs an update.

Staff was so disrespectful and rude and so immature after messing up my order she slammed the door on my face no apology what so ever, very rude service do not go here.i delivered online n came to pick it up and they acted delusional when i literally spent over 70+ dollars on food and getting treated like smack

1st time I tried Chicken katsu it was so good and crunchy awesome curry. Great quality.potato croquettes was too oily but bread was yum

Maybe just me and just today. After 5 customers were served /completed their orders and after 30 minutes of waiting and seeing staff are not busy.finally received my simple order.like seriously? I have to follow up after 20 minutes. And they didn’t even bother to action my order even after my follow up.

5 Star the food is fresh, extremely tasty and reasonably priced add that to a nice atmosphere and really friendly staff and it's a great dining experience, will be back again!

Lovely service and the food is amazing.i really enjoyed the fried chicken sando with sriracha mayo, super crispy potato croquettes, and the KSP.

We went to order takeaway from this restaurant last Saturday and the food is jam packed with reasonable price. Healthy food located in Caroline Springs just off Ballarat Rd next to Spotlight. Loved their poke bowl as very healthy indeed. Lots of variety of food to chose from. Staff were helpful as well and fast.

Terrible service. The staff there are not trained in customer service and seem quite clueless. I have ordered from here twice and on both occasions the order was wrong and girls were extremely rude. Whilst waiting for my food I also noticed horrible service with other customers as well as customer complaints, with multiple orders being sent back to the kitchen. Instead of apologising to customers they freely tell them “you ordered wrong! ”.

Extremely disappointed in the food. Ordered multiple bowls, was missing so many parts of the “bowl”. The customer service wasn’t that great either.
I’ve been hanging out to trying to this for awhile though which was super disappointing. Such a waste of money and time. Wouldn’t recommend what so ever. Save your money and go somewhere else.
