Kilsyth Basketball reviews
23At the front of Pinks reserve this Basketball stadium is home to Badminton and Table Tennis courts as well. The central foyer area has a cafe/ table and chairs area, the courts for each sport access from here. A very well kept venue.
Good centre, most people who play sports will be here. Don't think it's open for public use
It's hit and miss (don't mind the pun.) Resources are okay but you never know who will be on the game. My daughter no longer goes here but we did have some good experiences- just not too many.
Inconsistent refs, appears to be no set standard. Limited control of games and player safety. Not an overall positive atmosphere.
Great to watch my Granddaughter play Basketball. Good facilities.
We found car parking bays very tight. Not a lot of room to open car doors

Great community sporting venue. Really enjoyed watching my partner play his basketball game here.
Great facilities, easily accessible, canteen with hot and cold drinks as well as hot food and snacks.
Nice stadium, team was on main court with lots of seating. Very clean and good markings. Staff were very friendly.
Very clean and following protocol for covid. Scan bar code on entry or sign in. Not as packed as usually is so could distance from others which was so good.
My son played there as his team plays at different places but it's one place that's very nice with very lovely ladies in the canteen who are very friendly and happy towards their customers catering to their needs.
A law unto themselves! Won't even abide by their own rules. Refs think they own the court. "If it looks like a foul, it's a foul", even if they are nowhere in sight of the apparently offence.
Refs need a complete and in-depth training as a core, including the day time refs whom have been reffing 'most of their adult life'.
Poor service, aggressive door lady, tired refs. If you have played there, you don't need more of an explanation. The refs speak for themselves.
''If it looks like a foul I'll call it, even if I'm not in a position to see it''.
Standard line heard a millions times, and unfortunately its a culture that they are aware of and unwilling to change. Will do as many other teams have previously done and change stadiums.
Mediocre facility, nobody likes playing on 4 different sized basketball courts. Toilets in main courts disgusting and usually always broken. Some of the refs are shocking and extremely rude and condescending. With statements like ‘couldn’t see it, but I’ll call it’ or ‘My whistle my rules’. However most are well trained and pleasant. Administration is terrible, misplace information, lie about posting documents, emails happily and knowingly send to junk mail without advising you. Terrible.
It's a basketball stadium, they have a canteen, little shop with local team merchandise and other things including basketballs for sale, toilets. $3 game day entry.
Please read this. I Play A2 on the Friday night pennant. I like the club. My only problem is that people are placed in ranks where they're not supposed to be. Some people in A2, their skill is B3 level. This NEEDS to be fixed. I suggest holding a big grading session that accurately places players in their deserved Grade. The Grading should go for a couple of weeks.
Good small Basketball centre in the Eastern Suburbs, perfect for organised suburban kids Basketball games and schools sporting events! It is perfectly suitable for all amature Basketball games and competition! Easy to find as it is very noticeable when driving up Liverpool rd in Kilsyth! Ample parking!
My kids play here and thoroughly enjoy it. These courts are better maintained than others and staff are always friendly. Food costs could be a little more reasonable for families.
Generally a good facility, 6 basketball courts. Very noisy though (sound dampening materials would be a worthwhile addition to walls and ceilings). Change rooms and toilets are old and just adequate.
Great parking. Store & canteen thumbs up! Sitting waiting for training to finish and could either watch the Royal Wedding on one screen or the close circuit tv action on the show court of the youth league match.
Clean at all times, have really nice court but are sometimes a little too slippery and they hold most of the best basketball games
