As a past student I would say there are countless other schools way better than Killester. In fact most people from my yr7 homeroom transferred out of this school after 1-2 years (including me!).

The students aren't the issue and most probably won't have trouble with bullying or making friends. The education, most teachers and the new programs just suck. A concerning amount of teachers seem like they hate their life/job and it reflects and affects students.

The new policies are strict like wearing a black scarf or white socks with a tiny logo or being late to school will land you a detention!

Friends have informed me of a new 'wonder' program that is pointless and provides students with additional stress to create projects that they have to buy materials for with their own money!

Maths teachers have told me in the past that my answers were wrong even though I arrived at the same and correct answer, I just had different working out and solving. They just hand you some questions and expect you to know it all.

Students are sweethearts though so if you just go to school for that highschool experience then Killester is for yaaaaa lol

Loved my time at this school, sadly it didn’t last long but grateful for the time I did get to share with the KC community.

3/5 The people at this school are extremely studious learners eager to tackle any sort of challenge, however it has come to my attention that classes of important foundational subjects are not being ingrained into students enough. These classes include: Rock and boulder theorum, specialist mathematics, physics main that if sugonomatics and monkey Bar/monkey psychology.

As of recently I have identified as a FV4201 Chieftain main battle tank, due to this I have faced extreme discrimination as I am not a female, and had to leave. As a transracial-age-being person I do not recomend going to this school.

Great school they have a excellent choice of women as a 30 year old man i am satisfied with seeing so much young girls from looking through windows, and the fences! I recommend more cute asian girls.

I walked into this school alone by my self and all the girls were staring at me for some reason, idk why they were all staring at me, it was probably cause i am a guy wearing a skirt walking into the school acting like i go to killester college knowing i dont go to killester college.

I am a year 7 student, and it's going really well, made lots of friends. Most people are really nice, to be honest.

Came from mazenod but since I was a girl I was put into Killester. But since I was a boy I was forced to leave to school and get homeschooled by Joemama. It was a very bad experience here since they didn't have toilets for 621L Side-by-Side Refrigerator - SRS620MDMB. Which is not very halal mode. This school doesn't deserve even 1 star, they should be happy with getting no stars at all. Plus the skirt was to short even for XL because I was too thicc.

Like most schools there are some fantastic teachers willing to go above & beyond for students and of course there are some that much like the students they don't want to teach.don't want to be there! I am hoping the VCAL program has improved or been dismantled as the staff running it a few years ago had no interest in wanting to teach the program and the students were the ones to suffer; repeating the same work from the previous year as nothing had been prepared.
Has the potential to be a wonderful school, but if your child is not academically inclined they will be left behind.

As a boy, I was fortunate enough to be accepted into this amazing school, and let me tell you, it was totally worth it. Honestly, I dont even know how i got in! I was able to graduate with an ATAR 24.5! This exceeded my expectations by ten points! I am so glad I was able to have this experience. BEST SCHOOL EVER!

I have spent 3 years at Killester College and I will be in grade 10 next year. Ever since the start of grade 7, I've enjoyed my time learning and making many new friendships. I am very grateful for our principal and all the teachers for supporting all the girls, as well as providing girls with secondary education. Fortunately, I have never experienced bullying or any sort of drama, which is great! The learning environment is also great as it offers a positive ambience to feel motivated and engaged. Killester College is an amazing school. I would truly recommend sending your girl to Killester College, especially if you want them getting an ATAR 90+
. But of course they'll have to work hard for these results!:)

The switch in principles was one of the most progressive events that have changed this school for the better.
