Kids Off The Kerb Ltd reviews
6Not answering phone or returning calls. Aparently no kerb side pickup which defeats the whole name and purpose. Not everyone can deliver fridges to their recycling place.
I really don’t think one of your drivers needs to come to my door and chastise me for putting the washer and dryer on the nature strip instead of my driveway or front garden.
“In future put your stuff in your driveway or in the garden not on the nature strip. It’s a waste of time if we come out here and it’s already gone. ”
I made things as easy as possible for your drivers and your driver thought it would be fun to chastise me. Get a grip of yourselves!
What’s the difference if it someone takes it from the nature strip or the driveway or the garden, if someone is gonna take it, they’re gonna take it no matter where outside it is.
I mean how petty are you? I could have easily taken this stuff to the tip or into a skip, but I chose to offer to your charity. Accept it and be grateful. Get drivers with a better attitude! I had to be pleasant with the driver otherwise he might not have taken my stuff.
Never turned up, had to take to the tip as can't leave a working chest freezer near nature strip, phoned several time but can't just have it sitting in front yard for weeks on end.
Wow, they do free hard rubbish pick ups. I called them and the lady booked an appointment, easy as!
Made a gift of 3 white goods stainless steel kitchen appliances [all as new, never used] to the Thomastown depot bc this was recommended on the Whittlesea Council website. I can't recall ever having a gift received with such suspicion & ill grace, as if my gift was a major inconvenience to them. I asked for help to carry in the [heavy] wall oven from the car, which I had arranged for on the phone before going there, & the guy said, "Just this once. But in future if you make a delivery here it's up to you to get the things out of your car. You could have arranged to have them picked up. " I told him I thought bringing them myself would be faster. In any case, them coming to my house would mean lifting them there instead of in their car park, so what's the difference? I stopped talking to him after that.
I don't think I'll be making any future deliveries to this 'charity' bc their attitude stinks to High Heaven. I've since remembered I forgot to include the cook top gas regulator with it all, and I'd take it to them if I'd had a better experience, but I'd rather take things to the tip or leave them on the roadside than deal with people with such an attitude problem again.
