Khao San Road reviews
54Best Thai restuarat we have dined at. The friendly service was second to known. Highly recommend.
Every time I eat here, I'm reminded why this food is so damn good! I recommend coming hungry and trying out a banquet. Get ready for the most tender lamb and perfect roti with peanut sauce that will leave you salivating just thinking about it. Like me right now.
Authentic Thai Food with Generous portion. Excellent Service with friendly Staffs. Place nicely decorated with Antique and Thai theme. It can be noisy when crowded. Parking available at road side. It will be a challenge to get a table or car park lot during meal times.
A very nice Thai restaurant. Good staaf. Have vegetarian options too. They might want to increase more options.

The lovely folk fit me in last minute for the 2 of us on Mother’s Day evening. The service (for an extremely busy night) was great and the food is always delicious and tasty. I’ve got photos posted on my Instagram page @Melb_Brunch_Queen on May 14.
Will always be a return customer for this local fave
Wow! Huge choice of GF dishes, food was fresh and delicious, serves generous, staff friendly, relaxed casual atmosphere. Loved the butterfly pea vodka lime soda, the vegie tempura (so few places do GF tempura) and the Miang prawn entree was divine!
Great Gluten Free and Vegetarian options. Food is always great. Friendly service. Highly recommend
Khao San Road especially for families
Food was great. Once our main meals arrived we did not see a waiter again. We left after two hours without recieving our desert which was part of the banquet.
Great night out with friends. Yummy food. Efficent and friendly service. Good coffee. Good value for money. Will return
Food was absolutely amazing & the staff were extremely friendly if ur looking for a great place to get a feed with friends or family be sure to come check it out you won't be disappointed
A surprise packet and one of the best Thai meals I’ve had for some time. Good food (not over or undercooked), generous serves, and, some interesting and creative specials. Didn’t get a 5-star as they are so busy, service was a little slow. For massaman lovers it was great! As was the Tom yum (ask for Spicey) and the seafood rice. Will definitely go back when in Melbourne
The worse Pad Thai I have ever had, very dry chicken and tofu very chewy not juicy and tender as it meant to be.
Very disappointed ️
One of the best Thai food i have had in a long time. Me and a friend ended up ordering, Green Curry Chicken, Yellow Curry Chicken and Pad Thai.
Everything was amazing. Finger licking good. Especially Green Curry Chicken. To top it all you have cassava, the traditional cracker. Which tasted so good with pad thai, that it was surprising to us when we stopped at only one extra serve.
Service was impeccable and our server was polite, quick and always smiling.
Would go again very soon. Maybe closer to new years.
A 100% Must visit for dinners.
Had a wonderful dining experience never disappoints food was delicious have come here a few times and food is always great
The food was great. Unfortunately, the service for our group from the waitering/front of house team was a let down. The table runners were rude with appalling customer service. The man at the counter who seemed like a manager had no interest in farewelling us goodbye and seemed to be arrogant for no reason. A strangely poor experience for a polite group of us. We left feeling happy with the food however disappointed with the service. Smile at your customers. Welcome them and farewell them. It will go a long way.
Yet another Thai delight spot that will get your taste buds craving for more
The only thing we would complain about is the wait times. We dined for nearly 2 hours!
Entrée;
• Spring Roll Chicken
• Curry Puff Chicken
• Fish Cake
• Satay Chicken
Mains;
•Mussaman Curry Lamb with Jasmine Rice - The bestttt
• Fish Clay Pot: Rockling fish fillet with chilli, lemongrass, onion, dill, mushroom and vegetable
Our meals at Khao San Rd were very average to say the least. Thai fish cakes were like rubber, unable to cut through them. Noodles dish was just ok. The Lamb in the Massaman curry was inedible, it was full gristle. Won't be back.
Delicious food, friendly staff and lovely ambience - our favourite Thai restaurant in Melbourne!
Very delightful dinner. All the dishes we ordered are well seasoned and tastes beautiful. Will be back again very soon.
Great service, staff are super nice and attentive. The food was excellent and great value for money - will definitely go back.
