KFL Supermarket reviews
18 I really like tea.
This place is an Asian market with lots of tea options.
Other items are also abundant.
Polite service.
BIG ASIAN SHOP IN ST ALBANS.
YOU CAN FIND ANYTHING FOR COOKING, SEA FOOD, VEGGIES.
JUNK FOOD.
MANY OPTIONS FOR YOU. TOO MANY BRANDS TO CHOOSE.
HUGE SHOP. I LOVE THIS SHOP. THEY SPEAK KENTONY THOUGH.
Don't go into this store with your shopping from another store without a receipt or they'll accuse you of stealing them, embarrassing you in front of other customers. My wife went shopping there today, prior to entering KFL she had been to other shops near to KFL and purchased item and paid cash, never got a receipt from the other shop. Goes into KFL buys 5 items and pays cash, the girl behind the counter asked to check her bags which she did without hesitation. The girl immediately asked her for a receipt, when she said she didn't get one the girl told her that she would not give her the items back as she couldn't prove she purchased them from the store. Another checkout person came over both attacking my wife and accusing her of stealing them in front of a queue of other customers. It wasn't until my wife told them to look at their surveillance cameras or contact the other store when they eventually said ok, next time leave your bags at the front counter. I called the store when my wife came home in tears from the humiliation. This was disgusting behaviour and what is worse when I called the store and asked the manager to look at their cameras and then call my wife to apologise, he said he would and call back but never did. If you want to accuse your customers of stealing then perhaps have someone stand at the entrance checking bags prior to entry, or simply retrain your staff to handle the situation more sensitively. Many stores dont give receipts and many encourage you to pay cash when its under a certain amount, also their are so many shops next to you all selling the same items. Maybe check your cameras before you embarrass customers and make yourselves look like fools.
There are many varieties of Eastern and Western groceries but it's a bit hard to find the things You want because products are not categorize sorted accordingly.
A very good Asian grocery store, a wide variety of products and good quality produce are reasonable prices
Comprehensive asian grocery with vegetables, fresh meat, seafood and a large range of asian produce including noodles, sauces, spices, ingredients and specialty items at the start of Alfrieda street in St Albans. Good value in comparison with the other asian groceries in the area and more spacious.
The shop is Okay. Walkway inside the shop is very narrow. It is not very trolley friendly. I give Springvale KFL 5 star and this St Albans KFL 3 star.
Pretty good Asian supermarket. They got Asian vegs, Asian spices. Not specific to any country but I think it's got a lot of Vietnamese products. Idk why everyone is saying they are rude (they're not). They just work quick like Aldi. Wear a mask cause they wont allow you in if you dont have one.
Specialist in Vietnamese products, have a lot of fish here as well, plenty of products to choose from. Can get pretty hectic here.
Congested, insufficient checkouts operating. Must shop early or late afternoon to avoid congestion.
Good place for shopping products from Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia and Taiwan, but not Indian products
Some might find this store very intimidating but I love shopping here for all my Chinese ingredients for when I cook my Chinese food
One of the shop that I frequently visit in St. Albans to buy Asian produce. It is value for money and most of the products here are cheaper than other stores.
One of my favourite grocery store. They have big variety and price is not too expensive. Usually I able to find everything that I need here.
Good price. Specifically, groceries are very clean and fresh. Goods are diverse. Staffs are friendly and helpful.
Great place for all Asian cooking needs. Lots of fresh herbs and spices. Any ingredients you need. Cooking utensils and crockery.
KFL has this strong smell forever embedded in my head. Great variety of asian stuff but can someone please get rid of that smell.geez.
So so unclean, shelves half Empty and the staff rude as hell. I'll save my cash for one of the much better asian grocers around.
