KFC Calder Outbound

Only come here to feed the family before we go on camping trips. And sometimes passing to go to a friend's house. It's always really bad. Terrible food and serive.

I don't think I've ever ordered here and received fresh food. The place is always dirty, service is slow and the food is a thumbs down: (

Hot, fresh food, served quickly. I ordered using the self-service screens - I'm a bit old school so I'm getting used to all the cashless, contactless transactions everywhere. For what is essentially a truck-stop diner, the place was nice & bright, not excessively filthy & there was plenty of seating. I wouldn't say the service was especially friendly, but it was the end of the day on a Friday so my expectations weren't high

What a Joke, they called my meal a chicken breast. When approached, the server I didn't make it. The manager said that's the size, I was ment to get a zinger but was happy for just a breast. Looks more like a Tender strip. The front of house was disgraceful.
Very disappointed.

Absolutely feral on a Friday night. Staff throwing food around at each other when they're not busy forgetting half your order. Exactly what you'd expect I guess.

It is a road house so let's be real, you don't expect much, but I have to say, the food was good and fresh, I asked for extra chicken salt, got it asked for legs only, and got them. The team was polite and helpful. Recommend KFC over the other outlet's

Despite being very busy they got peoples orders done quickly while keeping up the quality of the food.

They forgot my popcorn chicken and aren't answering the phone for me to get it noted for next time

The ordering system is verbal and chaotic.
As always the Colonel's recipe is good for the coating and tasty but the actual chicken tastes boiled and has lost its texture.

My wrap at Mc Donalds was not very tasty (have eaten same at other McDonald's. The bacon was overcooked & salty. L Roberts

9pm on a Saturday and they said they were out of food. Only thing available was chicken nuggets. I find it so hard to believe that they ran out of food on a Saturday at 9pm.

If the owner even reads this, you need to seriously fire some people. They just didn't want to cook more food so they turn away paying customers.

The chips were cold, Girl who served us was so rude and forced me to leave this bad review! Also randomly while waiting for my food someone started playing bangers in the back so loud u could hear it clear as day! Honestly this kfc isnt slay nor a vibe

Eating area was appalling, food all over tables, floor and bins overflowing.
When KFC staff were asked to clean they were rude and apathetic, more interested in laughing and playing kids games with each other, even when people were waiting to be served.
Considering the current climate with corona virus one would imagine staff would be vigilant about hygiene.

Customer service was disappointing girl had attitude and boys out the back were play boxing while working asked for a breast piece got a thigh burger was so small think they put a tender in it not a fillet

Very disappointed tonight. I purchased 1 meal. Two plain burgers Purchased to take back to Gisborne to feed kids. Arrived home.missing two burgers. Please check and recheck orders. It’s not hard.

I ordered a twister just now from kfc Calder outbound and when I bit into it, I nearly broke my teeth as they had put a drumstick in my twister.thanks KFC where is your quality control?

Servers were quite nice, but people in the back act disgracefully.seems like there is hardly any supervision for these teenagers to operate a fast food restaurant.food taste fine, but service is horrible (excluding stressed out cashiers who seem to actually try)

I’ve been really sick with food poisoning and have been put off KFC for life. I never knew you could be so violently sick and still be alive. I brought a Zinger box on Friday night it’s now 4: 30 am Monday morning and I’m still crook. Not happy and very disappointed as I loved KFC until now. I ended up being very ill for 8 days, usually food poisoning only lasts about two days. The first night with it I wanted to go to hospital and kept my wife awake all night as I couldn't lay down. I visited the toilet over 50 times throughout the night and had a migraine that lasted 5 days that nothing could ease the pain. My lower back was in so much pain I couldn't lay down in bed and I now know it wasn't my back but my kidneys, I was so crook l didn't go see the doctor till the 5th day but had phone consulting as we live far away from town. I was off work for 6 of the 8 days without pay as I hadn't worked long enough to have any sick pay and my wife had to work from home while I had a fever (I just wanted her with me lol) but I felt better when she was home. I'm telling you all the nitty gritty so you don't make the same mistakes as I did. If you see blood in your chicken pieces don't eat it and take it back and also don't sit around dying with the symptoms got to the hospital as you'll need intravenous fluids and care. Lastly make sure you ring the store and let them know so others don't suffer too.

Not too bad, they got the order correct, the drive through is a bit tricky if you have a long car or one with a trailer attached.

Would give a 0 star if I could, I ordered 3 large chips, paid full price. I was given 2 large chips, and an empty large chip box.
How do you mess this up, pathetic.
