KFC Ararat

Freezing cold inside kfc here in ararat no heating just cooling 2 degrees with a air conditioning made it alot colder everything goes cold quick not good at all fix you shop get and heater installed

Watch the staff tip back chips a customer wanted extra salt into the chip tray after he had ate some. No food handling skills. So I left and will never return again. Really bad hygiene.

I agree with Joe Dow. Manager served me in drive through. He was on duty 2 January 2024 about 3 p.m. When I got home I discovered that what I was given was not what I ordered.
So I drove all the way back. No apology. I asked for two extra wings for compensation for having to drive back. He just pushed the food towards me and said "No". I asked to speak to the manager and he said that he was the manager. I was even refused for them to contact the owner to call me regarding my complaint! The so called baby manager was arrogant.
Whoever is the owner of this place take heed. Your staff are rude and way too young to know about customer service. If I were you, I'd sack this so called "manager" or demote him as an example. Food is not cooked to KFC tasty standards. Can't see you having this business for long! I'll never go back there. People, there are better food places in Ararat. Go somewhere else instead!

Need a protected window for the drive thru. The poor staff member was shaking with the cold.

Typical KFC. Good service. Quite clean.
Visited again on 1 September. Still great service and atmosphere.

At the time I visited the dining area, floor was not being cleaned. Lots of rubbish on the floor and food left overs were on the seats. Very sorry to say the food was not in the usual quality, chips were not fresh and chicken were too oily. Service was not too bad!

Website says open until 11pm went through the drive through at 10pm, drove up to the window After waiting to see 2 workers laughing at us maybe? But wouldn’t acknowledge us or say sorry we are closed

Service was a tad slow considering the restaurant was empty. Food quality was acceptable and the restaurant was quite clean.

Very slow service, poor connection so could not order through the app. More workers on a break than actually serving?

I purchased a wrap combo and the lid was not on properly when passed it went all over the interior of the car and the wrap meal was so wet it went through the bag and when I contacted the manager I was told that the kids are young serving. THE WRAP WAS A 10YR OLDS MEAL COST GOOD MONEY AND WAS UNEDIBLE. WILL NEVER COME BACK AND IM LOCAL. ABSOLUTLY PATHEDIC EXCUSES FOR POOR SERVICE AND FOOD!

Good location on the drive down to Melbourne. Reliable quality food and service. Would recommend

Food is under cooked they never have anything in stock, do not recommend coming to this store.always mess up orders.
Worst kfc in Victoria

Drive through was cash only (no signs) managed to find just enough money for the $14 meal I ordered but when I got to the window they said it was $27.50 for one original tenders box…so they made us go in to pay but ended up having to re-order this time charging the correct amount, 30minutes later after the drive through employee had finished his laugh with a co worker instead of doing his job and the food was still terrible. If I could give it negative stars I would, worst kfc I’ve ever been to. Don’t waste your time.

Visiting from SA, Ben F was very nice, accommodating, and served us well. The best KFC I’ve had, but I’ve probably only been to 7 different KFCs back in SA. Anyway, great experience

Love the food, it is fresh, unlike the other branches of KFC. Hoping that the cripy hot and spicy will be a permanent menu at KFK around Australia.

Friendly staff indoor and outdoor seating store clean food order quick chips hot wrap great with coleslaw.

Service poor. Lots of personal conversations being had behind the counter with no care if the customers heard. Food was same as most KFC outlets.

So wrong: (We tried Popcorn-but got served double-fried, triple salted bits gristle; cartilage; tough cartilaginous or tendinous fibrous matter) Inedible. Not food. Just NASTY. No stars for you!
We had to throw it in the bin.

Worst kfc asked for no breast 3 times in a 3 piece feed. Sure enough got breast and the bun looked like it had been stepped on and no spoon pack
